Directions to login to eportal (CCC online account) 1. From www.colbycc.edu, click on the eportal tab on the bottom left hand side. eportal offers access to all online applications including Trojanweb and ecourses (ecollege) with just one password. *To view a step-by-step video tutorial, click here or copy and paste the URL below into your browser.* https://youtu.be/egymaxahpq4 2. Enter the email address and password that was included in the welcome email you received. Email: firstname.last@trojans.colbycc.edu Password: first initial of first name + first initial of last name + year of admittance (initials are lower case) Example: John Smith has recently been admitted to CCC. His login would be: Email: john.smith@trojans.colbycc.edu Password: js2015 3. Enter this information on the eportal log-in page. 1
4. Click on ecourses to enter the online classroom, choose Google/Email Apps to view your CCC email, or click on TrojanWeb to view course offerings. To enroll in courses or see your information you will need to log into TrojanWeb. Enrolling with TrojanWeb 1. The first time you log in to TrojanWeb, you will be asked to verify your account. Your system ID is your student ID number without any dashes. This number can be found in the top left corner of your screen. Your first and last name will need to match the name that you used to apply to CCC. Your date of birth should be entered as: two digit month/two digit day/four digit year format (e.g., 01/01/1995). 2
2. Click on Find Courses towards the bottom of the screen. 3. Search for the course you wish to enroll in. 3
4. Once you find the correct course, click Add. 5. When all of the courses you wish to enroll in are added, view your cart. 6. Review your schedule and click Next. 7. Select your desired payment method. Then, select Next again. 8. You should see a message congratulating you on completing registration. 4
Make payments online with TrojanWeb 1. Once you ve logged on to the eportal, click the TrojanWeb link. 2. Click the Finances tab. 3. Click on Balance on the far left. 4. Here you will find the Make a Payment section. Put in the amount that you would like to pay in the Amount field, and then click the Make a Payment button. A new window will pop up where you can enter payment information. (You will need popup blockers disabled.) 5
You can choose to pay via Credit card, Debit card or Check. To pay using a credit card or debit card, proceed to step 5. If you would like to pay using a Check proceed to step 6. IF the payment is to be processed from an account other than that of the student, the name and address have to match that of the credit card or bank account, not the student. 6
5. To pay via Credit or Debit Card, fill in the information and click the Continue button on the bottom right part of the screen. 6. To pay via Bank Account, click the Bank Account button. Fill in your routing and account number (these numbers can be found on a check) 7
Logging in to Computers on CCC s Campus 1. Using the keyboard, press Ctrl + Alt + Del simultaneously. 2. Login: Student ID Number Password: eportal password (first initial of first name + first initial of last name + year of admittance) Forwarding all email from your CCC Email Account Every student admitted to Colby Community College will receive an email account. This is the only email that staff and faculty use to communicate with students. Be sure to check this email often! If you have another email that you prefer to use, follow the instructions below to forward your email. 1. Login to your CCC email via eportal. 2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select Settings." 3. Click the Forwarding tab ( Forwarding and POP/IMAP ). 4. Add a forwarding address. This is the personal email address where you would like to receive all of your CCC email. An email address you check regularly should be used. 8
You will need to verify your forwarding address. Google will walk you through this. Make sure you select to forward a copy of incoming mail to this forwarding address. 5. Select Save Changes at the bottom of the page. ecollege/ecourses Many instructors post valuable course material online for students. Whether you are in an online course, face-to-face, or hybrid, it is very important that you are able to log in to your ecourses. 1. Login to eportal 2. Click the ecourses icon 3. Click on Academics (upper left corner of screen). 4. Click on your course. On-campus and hybrid courses will be classified as ecompanion. Online courses will be classified as ecourses. 9
