General Requirements All of your work should conform to the general requirements. These requirements represent the bare minimum required to ensure the hightest quality HTML page possible. White space used to ease readability. Code should strive to fit into 80 columns where possible for ease of printing. Indentation should be used where appropriate, especially with respect to HTML tables, for inhanced readability. All tags should be required. HTML file should not contain any broken links or non working code.

Competency Checklists These checklists are filled out and maintained by the instructor. It is used for purposes of assessment and potential certification. Results are reported back to the student and their manager. In order to complete the module all of the requirements must be fully satisfied. It is not necessary to turn these checklists in. They exist in an electronic format. They are included so that the student can see the specific criteria that they are being evaluated on. The student only needs to turn in their work for each assignment. 3

I am not so concerned that your page look 100% identical to the one below, but it should be pretty close. Create and HTML page that looks similar to the one that follows. HTML - 6

H T M L ASSIGNMENT 3 Hyperlinks Create a page that supports the following hyperlinks depicted Link to the document list_graphic_bullets.htm Create link to Amazon.com Link to a place in your document (use the book1.gif)* Note: The third bullet I have asked you to hyperlink using a graphic as the link. I have not provided you an example of this. As I said this was not going to be a comprehensive cookbook. Many times you will need to accomplish something where paper and human resources just do not hold the answer. You will need to do some web research to figure out how to create a hyperlink using a graphic. HTML - 8

H T M L Final Assignment Using frames as an interface, create a series of web pages where the theme is to provide resources (internet, intranet, static HTML pages) pertaining to the subject of HTML. Ideally, your goal is to create a resource that you can use long after this module when needing information on HTML. As a minimum requirement to this assignment your webpage should Consist of at least 3 frames. Contain at least 5 urls to internet and/or intranet sites that you can reference as part of your job. Contain at least 5 references to documents that you have created that you use on a regular basis. Contain at least 5 references to documents others have created that you use on a regular basis. Be organized in a fashion that is logical and intuitive to you. Is done with enough quality that you would not be opposed to it being a link at another site. HTML - 22
