1 7 th Grade Web Design Name: Project 1 Rubric Personal Web Page Date: Grade : 100 points total A Challenge Assignment A B C D Goals You will be creating a personal web page in HTML. You will incorporate HTML programming into your page to create all essential aspects to any web page on the World Wide Web. This page will be kept on an Intranet basis and will be inhouse only in your folder and not viewed on the Internet. Remember to adhere to proper lab conduct. Grading Your web page will be graded in two ways. The first are your in-class grades. Each class period will have daily goals of accomplishment for the work that should be completed in class for the web page. Review the grades for each goal. These goals are the minimums. You may always work ahead as the curriculum is self-paced and move onto the challenge assignments. The second grade will be the final assessment and presentation of your web page in the lab at the end of the project due date. This is different from the individual grade based on how all of the elements you created come together and look on the screen and web browser. Evaluation Lessons 1 through Lesson 22 must be completed for up to 66 points out of 100 points. The checklist describes what must be put into each lesson. Please use in reference to the grade sheet. Challenge Assignment: If you complete Lessons 1 through 22 ahead of schedule, then you may attempt the challenge grade. Add 5 points for adding one more of the following: Lesson 23, 26, 27, 28, or 29. You may also choose Lessons 24 and 25 together for the challenge points. This will allow you to earn an A+. Lab Rules: Remember, being in the lab is a privilege not a right. Inappropriate behavior will result in the student to complete a library research paper instead for the same grade. Topic will be: The History of the Internet
