Timothy F. Lisante, PhD Principal D79 Superintendent John Widlund, (212) 369-8800 phone (212) 876-9290 fax Dear District 79 Colleagues, As we begin the 2014-2015 school year, I am taking this opportunity to remind you of the great learning opportunities Co-op Tech can offer your student population. We serve all New York City students ages 16-21 who are enrolled in high school or in an approved NYC DOE program, with a special emphasis on registering District 79 students. Please visit our website www.co-optech.org for additional information and program details. Admissions are conducted throughout the school year (rolling) and all students who apply will be placed in one of our 17 programs, across each of the five boroughs at 11 sites. Our programs vary by site and several highly popular programs fill up quickly, so ensure that all of your students select three CTE programs that are of interest to them. Please rest assured that most, if not all students, will be accepted to either their first or second choice. As you may know, all courses are tailored to follow a very unique schedule: AM (8:30 11:00 am) or PM (12:30 3:00 pm), so it s important to enroll students during the block of time that works best for them. Please review the school directory in the following pages to determine which program and location is appropriate for your student(s). If you have site specific questions, please contact us directly at the numbers found in the directory. At the Cooperative Technical School of Education, we look forward to providing a world class learning experience for all of your students. If I can be of any assistance, or if you have any questions, please feel free to email or call me directly. Thank You, John Widlund Principal
