To utilize the CompCruncher MLS service with Matrix, you must first set up a custom export. Once you ve created a custom export, you can then export your searches. Create a Custom Export for use with CompCruncher2.0 If you already have a CompCruncher2 custom report built, please run a search and start at step 6. 1 Click the My Matrix tab and select Settings. 1 2 Click the Custom Exports link.
3 From the Manage Custom Exports screen, click on Add Export. 4 Name your export CompCruncher2. From the Available Fields column, left column, Available Fields double click on the fields that match the field list that accompanied this guide. The fields will transfer to the right side column, Export Fields. Continue this process until you have transferred all the fields that are on the field list. At the bottom of the screen, to Include Column Names: choose Label and Separator: Comma. Click Save.
5 After saving your export setup, your screen should resemble the image below. If not, click the Edit Export button and be sure to follow step 4. Once complete, click Done.
Export your search results for use with CompCruncher2.0 6 Run a Residental Search by clicking on the Search Tab, Residential, SFR/Townhouse/Condo. 7 Enter in your criteria. Include at least 200-250 records with a minimum of 75 sales. Include Active and Pending listings. Expired, Canceled, and Withdrawn are OK to use. Click on the Results button to view results.
8 Click on ALL to check all listings, then click the Export button at the bottom of the screen. 9 From the Export File Format drop down menu, select CompCruncher2. Then click the Export button.
10 0 From download menu bar at the bottom of the screen, click on the small arrow next to Save, then select Save as so you will be able to change the file name and choose a location on your computer to save your export file. 11 0 Important: Name your export file so you will not confuse it with a CompCruncher work file. MLS export files end in.csv and CompCruncher files end in.cmpx. Do not import a.cmpx file into CompCruncher. Save your file with a name and location you will remember as you will need to access this.csv file to import into CompCrucher. Click Save. You can now use your export file (.csv) in CompCruncher2.0.
