Setting up CU@Round On line Account Created Date: October 6, 2009 Purpose: This document is a step by step process on how to set up a member s CU@Round online account. Note: The member will need the following information to set up their on line account: a. Member number b. PAL PIN number if the member doesn t know their PAL PIN number do not assume it is the day and year the member was born just reset the PAL PIN number. c. Social Security Number or TIN for Trust/Business accounts d. Street number from their address, example if the address is 5932 Bell Avenue, they will enter 5932 only. e. Email address f. Logon ID member will be creating a new one, must be at least 6 alphanumeric characters with no spaces, special characters are allowed. g. Security code this is the same as a password, must be at least 8 alphanumeric characters with no spaces or special characters, needs to contain at least two number and two letters, i.e. cannot be all numbers or all letters 10/6/2009 Page 1

1. From The People s Federal Credit Union homepage, www.tpfcu.com, click on Login to My Account (Figure 1). A new browser window will open with User Login page displayed (Figure 2). Login to My Account Figure 1 Getting Started Enroll Online Figure 2 10/6/2009 Page 2

2. Click on either Getting Started or Enroll Online link in the left side menu (Figure 2). Getting Started (Figure 3) is a welcome screen and by clicking on the click here member will be taken to Enroll Online page Step 1: Enroll (Figure 4). Click here Figure 3 Figure 4 10/6/2009 Page 3

3. Member will need to fill in the following fields and click on the OK button. This will take the member to Step 2: Setup (Figure 5) Note: There can be no spaces before or after any of the text in any of fields or an error will be generated and they will not be able to proceed. a. Member number account number b. PAL PIN number if the member doesn t know their PAL PIN number do not assume it is the day and year the member was born just reset the PAL PIN number. c. Social Security Number If it is a trust or business account put in the TIN # without dashes. d. Street number from their address, example if the address is 6807 Spring Cherry Lane, they will use 6807 only. If it a PO Box then enter the numbers for the PO Box. If there are words before the street number the address will need to change in visual, remove the words before number and after they have the online account set up, change visual back to what was originally there, i.e. In Trust for. Some Error messages: Error Code: 1408 incorrect PAL PIN number Error Code: 1420 incorrect PAL PIN number Response error: [Error enrolling user: 7271: User ID is not Unique. Please contact your financial institution for enrollment.] Error Code: 12 This means there is already an online account set up with the account number entered.. To verify that the on line account has already been set up, go to the virtual branch administration webpage and put the member number in the User ID field. If the users account information is being displayed then scroll down and find the Login ID under the Security Information Response error: [Error enrolling user: ####: please enter a valid phone number.] Error Code 12 Make sure there is a phone number in visual. If there is a phone number remove it and reenter it, there may be a space that cannot be seen. If you get an error that is about something that is not entered by the member then check Visual to make sure the thing listed is correct in Visual. Note: If an error message is generated, close the browser window and click on Logon in to My Account again from www.tpfcu.com home page. 10/6/2009 Page 4

4. Member will need to fill in the following fields and click on the Finish button. This will create there Login ID and Security Code and take the member to the Step 3: Confirmation screen (Figure 6). Note: All fields are required, and there can be no spaces before or after any of the text in any of fields or an error will be generated and they will not be able to proceed. a. Email address NAME@PROVIDER.COM b. Logon ID member will be creating this it is new. The Login ID must be at least 6 alphanumeric characters, no spaces or special characters are allowed. c. Security code this is the same as a password and member will be creating this, must be at least 8 alphanumeric characters with no spaces or special characters, needs to contain at least two number and two letters, i.e. cannot be all numbers or all letters. Figure 5 5. To process the member must click on Click Here (Figure 6). The login in page will be displayed and the member will need to login and click on the OK button (Figure 7). Click here Figure 7 6. The member will need to enter their Security Code and click on the OK button (Figure 8). Step 1 of the Enhanced Authentication page will be displayed (Figure 9). If a member doesn t remember their Security Code they can click on the click here on the Enter Logon ID page (figure 7), but remember the email sent with a new temporary security code will take 15 minute or they can call and talk to anyone in member services to have it reset. The Phrase will not be a security code or logon ID, this will be visible and in the picture frame of the Image once it is created a saved System selects an image at random, but the member can change the image by clicking on Change image link Change Image Figure 9 Next button 7. Enter a Phrase in Your Phrase box Step 1 of Enhanced Authentication page (Figure 9). Note: Members must complete the enhanced authentication or they will not be able to precede in access their online accounts. Your Phrase is a required field. 8. Click on the Change image link to change the image displayed inside the frame (Figure 9). Note: The system selects an image at random, but the member can change the image by clicking on Change image link below the image. There will be a page with six images displayed if the member doesn t link any of these the can click on more images to see more (Figure 10). When the images are first displayed all images types are displayed, the member can select a category on the left side of menu to sort the images if they like (Figure 10). If the images are not changed skip to step 10. 10/6/2009 Page 7

The change Phrase and image page will be displayed and the image selected will be displayed in the Passmark frame. If the member doesn t want to select an image at this time they can use the scroll bar to scroll down and click no the Cancel button (Figure 8). Note: The image and phrase will be displayed on the page the security code is entered, if they don t see the phrase created or image they selected then they are not on The People s Federal Credit Union s secure CU@Round webpage. They should immediately report to us the URL they are using and close the browser. Member will only be able to access their online accounts from the Logon in to My Account link on www.tpfcu.com webpage. 10/6/2009 Page 8

10. To save their selection the member must click on the Next button below the image (Figure 10). Step 2 of Enhanced Authentication webpage will be displayed (Figure 11). Next button Figure 11 11. Select a question for each of the three questions and enter the answer in the text box below each question (Figure 11). Note: The three security questions are displayed if a member is accessing their online account from a computer they don t normally use. If they can not answer the questions the system will not let them access their account. Note: If the member clicks the Cancel button they will not be able to logon to their online account. 10/6/2009 Page 9

12. After all three questions have been selected and answered click on the Next button (figure 11). The Enhanced Authentication Enrollement confirmation screen will be displayed (Figure 12). The 3 rd step confirms the image and phrase. Notice the Phrase inside the images picture frame. When logging in the member should see this picture with the phrase. If not they might be on a Phishing or Pharming site. Verifies the Questions and answers from the challenge questions If anything is incorrect before clicking the Final NEXT button, any or this can be changed. Figure 12 Next button 10/6/2009 Page 10

13. After verifying and making any changes, click on the Next button (Figure 12). The Overview page will be displayed (Figure 13) and online enrollment has been completed. Figure 13 Notes: Members are locked out of CU@Round (VB) on the third unsuccessful logon attempt. Members can prevent being locked out by clicking on Click Here prior to the third unsuccessful attempt. Member must have valid email address within VB. Members will need to call member services to have their password reset. Virtual Branch will time out upon ten minutes of no activity. If something is clicked before the page loads completely the member will be logged out of the system and have to re log in. Enhanced Authentication is required. 10/6/2009 Page 11
