List of key media Radio 1. ACIR The largest radio group in Mexico with a presence in the country extending across 175 stations including 71 cities. Founded 50 years ago by Mr. Francisco Ibarra Lopez (President of the Mexican TV & Radio Chamber at the age of 32 years), Grupo ACIR has become the domestic leader in radio for Mexico in terms of broader coverage and technology in its network. Grupo Acir offers programs in a variety of formats including Spanish Hits, Regional Mexican, Romantic, English Hot Adult Contemporary, Spanish Oldies, News/Talk, women- oriented talk and Mariachi. In April 2004, Grupo Acir launched Mexico City s first full service traffic network called Radio Tráfico Total which delivers traffic and other service features such as weather forecasts to millions of commuters every day throughout all of its Mexico City stations and eight other leading Mexican markets. 2. RADIO FORMULA Company operating in Mexico City since 1968 with a presence in the AM and FM frequencies across the country, making it the leading news programming organization. GRUPO RADIO CENTRO Largest radio station operator, and, for the last 30 years, the number one radio broadcasting group in Mexico City, the most highly populated city in North America. Grupo Radio Centro has also been the leading broadcasting group in Mexico. The group s principal activities are the production and broadcast of music and entertainment programs, talk shows, news, and special events programs. Revenue is primarily derived from the sale of commercial airtime. The company s average market share in Mexico City for the year ending December 31, 2002, was 31.4%, more than half that of the next radio broadcasting company in Mexico City. Grupo Radio Centro currently owns eight AM radio stations and five FM stations, and it operates an additional FM station. Of the 15 stations that the company manages, 11 operate in Mexico City. Several of the stations are also available via Real Audio. 5. GRUPO IMAGEN (Radio, Excélsior Newspaper, Television and TV Cadena Tres) Grupo Imagen belongs to Angeles Group, delivering news and entertainment through three media platforms: radio, tv, and newsprint. Their outlets include: Imagen 90.5 FM, Report 98.5 FM, Cadena Tres (Channel 28) and the Excélsior newspaper. Imagen 90.5 FM and Report 98.5 wireless FM deliver news and information into more than 70 cities in Mexico and the United States. Excélsior newspaper was founded in 1917. The paper has a strong team of journalists and a reputation for being objective and impartial in its delivery of the news. Cadena Tres complements Grupo Imagen with a commitment to delivering quality news, information and entertainment to Mexico. Newspapers 1. REFORMA El Diario Reforma, a daily newspaper, has a national circulation of 140,000 with a subscriber base of 80,000, and is printed and published by the Reforma Group. Reforma carries a special travel supplement every Sunday, De Viaje!. Much of the content in the supplement is picked up and carried in other newspapers, Mural (Guadalajara) and El Norte (Monterrey), both part of Grupo Reforma. There is also a monthly magazine published on the last Saturday of each month, DV!, which is only offered to subscribers. The audience of both publications are high-end consumers and travelers. The content focuses on high-end vacation opportunities, luxury hotels and spas. In addition, De Viaje! has a section on the brand s website, Reforma.com, where articles, videos, podcasts, quizzes, animated graphics and pictures are updated daily. Access to the page is possible only with a password, which is given to paid subscribers. 2. EL UNIVERSAL Second biggest daily newspaper in Mexico with a circulation of 180,000. It carries a travel supplement, Destinos. Important travel articles and recommendations of where to travel are written within this supplement. In the year 2000, the paper launched two new special sections including Day Seven, which was inserted on Sundays to a circulation of 312,000 copies, and a weekly section, Highways. El Universal can be found online at eluniversal.com.mx, the leading news page in Mexico with 150,000 registered users and over 5 million page views per day. Its main sections are: Minuto x Minuto, Timely Notice, Your Money, Media and Entertainment Guide, among others. 3. MILENIO Milenio Diario, a daily newspaper, is part of Milenio Group, a multi-platform media group with a presence in printed media, television and radio. Founded in 1974, Milenio Diario reaches the A/B and C markets and has a circulation of 103,000. It carries a weekly supplement 3 P age

Tornavuelta every Sunday with articles focused in national and international high-end luxury, eco- and adventure travel. Milenio is found online at www.milenio.com with free access to its constantly updated news and information. The Television Broadcasting segment engages in the production of television programming and broadcasting of national channels 2, 4, 5, and 9, and the production of television programming and broadcasting for local television stations in Mexico and the United States. The Programming Exports segment offers international licensing of television programming. The Publishing segment primarily publishes Spanish-language magazines in Mexico, the United States, and Latin America. 2. TV AZTECA TV Azteca, S.A. de C.V. (BMV: TVAZTCA; Latibex: XTZA), generates over 10,000 hours of content per year, and is one of two broadcast television companies in Mexico, operating two national networks, Azteca 13 and Azteca 7 through 321 owner-operated television stations located throughout Mexico. The group also operates Proyecto 40 in Mexico City. Forty-four of TV Azteca s stations broadcast local programming and advertising. Programs produced locally include newscasts, game shows, sports events and entertainment. The company owns 100% of Azteca America Network, a broadcast television network focused on the rapidly growing US Hispanic market. It currently has 62 affiliate stations in Hispanicdominant market areas in the United States, home to 89% of the US Hispanic population. Other TV Azteca subsidiaries include Azteca Internet network sites; a professional soccer team of Mexico's First Division league, Monarcas Morelia; and Azteca Music, a special events company.
