KEY FACTS FOR INTEGRATION AND READY-TO-USE The system is a flexible medium sized callcenter solution to receive and handle lift emergency and monitoring calls. Its main key features are: Scalable (up to 100.000 lift emergency telephones) Multi-protocol (use multiple DTMF/SMS/Voice protocols on the same system) Future proof (fully VoIP, but also connects to analog, ISDN or GSM network) Web application (operators and customers can access the system secure via Internet) Automated reporting (PDF report, E-Mail/SMS notification) Customizable (data fields, images, colors, logos,...) The system can be installed in two ways. Either as a integration setup (3), which only handles the communication with the lift emergency telephone and stores the data into an database. Or as an ready to use system (4) which has an web application on top of it. A Scalability Ability to handle a growing amount of lift emergency telephones (how many lift emergency telephones can be served by the system, at a maximum). B Connection to telephone network Which technologies can be used to connect the system to the telephone network. C Telephone system The telephone system is used to receive/send data from/to the lift emergency telephones. Additional to that, the system may passes emergency calls to the next available operator and records them. D Protocols The P100 protocol, supported by ELA, is used to transmit data for monitoring and emergency calls. Additional to that, automated service calls may be identified via caller ID only (no telephone costs). Additional protocols may be available on customer request. E Operators An operator checks pending monitoring events (e.g. battery broken, main power failure,...) or answers emergency calls. While a certain number of operators can be defined within the system, only the given number of parallel operators are able to work with the application at the same time. F Database All monitoring and emergency call events will be stored in the database. You are free to access the database via an open interface (e.g. ODBC) from your third party application or reporting tool. G Client Application Via the client applications the user can access the master data, view monitoring events and answer emergency calls with help of real-time call presentation.the system can be customized to meet special needs. - 6 -
