1 What's New in SAP HANA Spatial Use this document to find out about new and enhanced features of the SAP HANA Spatial optional capability for the SAP HANA platform as of support package stack 09. 2 SAP HANA Spatial SPS 12, Features Included in Revision 120 2.1 SAP HANA Spatial (New and Changed) As of SAP HANA Platform SPS 12 (Revision 120), there are a number of new and changed features in SAP HANA spatial. 3 SAP HANA Spatial SPS 11, Features Included in Revision 110 3.1 SAP HANA Spatial (New and Changed) As of SAP HANA Platform SPS 11 (Revision 110), there are a number of new and changed features in SAP HANA spatial. SAP HANA spatial provides spatial clustering using the algorithms grid, k-means, and DBSCAN. Spatial clustering can be performed on the original data set (geospatial points) in the SAP HANA system. SAP HANA spatial supports multidimensional types (Z, M, ZM). For more information, see Multidimensional Support in the SAP HANA Spatial Reference. Note Multidimensional support is only available for column type ST_GEOMETRY. It is not available for column type ST_POINT. The SAP HANA spatial support for Core Data Services (CDS) and SQLScript has been enhanced. SAP HANA spatial supports a geocoding trigger. The following services are additional voluntary services provided by SAP, which can be withdrawn at any time: Spatial Map Client The spatial map client provides an interface to use HERE maps. Spatial Content Viewer The spatial content viewer is a simple web application to create a predefined geo model called SAP_SPATIAL and to view the geo content on HERE maps. For information, see Spatial Content Viewer in the SAP HANA Spatial Reference.
