MENDEL GIEZEN ACADEMIC RESUMÉ Profile Currently, my research and teaching revolves around sustainable urban development and infrastructure. Within this field I work on projects in adaptive decision-making and planning of spatial interventions, the upscaling of low carbon urban development and the urban impact of the sharing economy. My article Keeping it Simple has recently been included in a book with essential readings on mega projects selected by Bent Flyvbjerg: Mega Project Planning and Management: Essential Readings. On a professional level, I am supportive, creative and enjoy working together with colleagues on research and teaching projects.
