Exchanging a Video Media Server Disconnecting your current Video Media Server Before you begin installing your new equipment, some of your existing equipment will need to be disconnected and sent back to Verizon. 1. SAVE YOUR SETTINGS. You can transfer some User Settings from your current Video Media Server to the new one. TV series schedules, parental controls, and favorites are all available.. Existing equipment you must DISCONNECT AND RETURN Video Media Servers(s) with their Power Cord(s). Place your old Video Media Server(s) with Power Cord(s) in the shipping box and return them to Verizon using the pre-paid label. Troubleshooting TV FiOS TV REMOTE FiOS ROUTER REMOTE CONTROL Read the Remote Control Guide in this box. View Help Videos on Channel 11 FiOS TV. Visit welcometofios.verizon.com to see the interactive demonstration on Using Your Remote. FiOS ROUTER Check that router is turned on. Check router coax cable connection to the coax wall outlet. Confirm Power, WAN and Internet lights are green. If not, turn router off, then back on. TV PICTURE No picture or blue screen? Check that the TV is turned on. Set TV to Channels or 4, if using coax cable. Verify your TV is on the correct INPUT settings. Use the manufacturer s remote that came with your TV and press the INPUT/SOURCE button to scroll through options until you see live TV.
