How to reach IBM Office From the Hotel to Metro Station EUR Palasport Directions Total Estimate time: 5-8 minutes walking Distance Start out going WEST on VIALE EUROPA toward Viale BOSTON 0.3 kilometers EUR Palasport IBM Shuttle bus Hotel dei Congressi Turn LEFT onto VIA CRISTOFORO COLOMBO Turn SLIGHTLY RIGHT onto VIALE AMERICA 0.2 kilometers 0.3 kilometers Cross the street. The IBM bus stop is just where there is the big platform (on the left side of Metro steps). Ask to the driver if it is the IBM bus. Please check the timetable. To keep in mind Your 1st Stop is the reception of Building 5. Be ready with your identification card and the form that has been previously distributed by the staff of the meeting. After the registration you will receive a temporary daily badge to access inside the IBM building and transit through the Tivoli Laboratory. Leave your badge at the end of the day to the receptionist or in the blue boxes located at the receptionist desk. Auditorium A and B are located at 7th floor of the Building 5. All the IBM offices are NO smoking area. If there are smokers among the participants, do not hesitate to inform your IBM coordinator or the hostess; he/she will take care to bring you outside the office, in a dedicated area. There is a reception available from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For any urgency outside this timeframe, please contact your IBM coordinator. Cameras are NOT permitted inside IBM buildings. If you bring a camera with you, please leave it in the security boxes at the reception. Pictures or movies outside the buildings ARE FORBIDDEN too.
In case of Fire alarm It is possible to have some fire alarm (for exercitation) during the meeting: in that case DO NOT use the elevator. Leave immediately the meeting s room and follow your IBM coordinator who will drive you outside the building where it is located the meeting area for this emergency (in the lawn/garden close to the parking area).
