Professional Activities, Experience, and Service I currently serve as a reviewer for the Journal of Politics and Public Administration Review, and have reviewed journal manuscripts for: Policy Studies Journal;, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory; State Politics and Policy Quarterly; American Politics Quarterly; Political Research Quarterly; and the American Journal of Political Science. I have also reviewed book manuscripts for Routledge Press, Oxford University Press, Longman Press, Bedford-St. Martin s Press, and CQ Press. Finally, I have reviewed grant applications for the NSF, for the National Cancer Institute of Canada, and for the University of California s Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program. Other professional activities have involved chairing the Public Policy Section for the 2002 Midwest Political Science Association meeting, and chairing the Midwest Political Science Association s Committee on Non-PhD Granting Institutions from 2005 through 2007. Finally, I served as the Public Policy and Public Administration Section Chair, and Executive Council member, for the New York State Political Science Association from 1998 through 2001. Teaching Experience I teach in the fields of public policy, public administration, and statistics. In the area of public policy, this includes courses on public health policy, the policy process, and policy analysis. In the field of public administration, I have taught courses on public organizations, public personnel administration, public budgeting and public finance. Finally I have taught Scope and Methods of Political Science, and Ph.D. level seminars on time series and pooled time series analysis.
