Trainees undertaking post-graduate courses through the University of Surrey will graduate with a UK academic qualifi cation. This programme was a major step for my career. The BILSAT-1 engineers did not only work for Turkey s space programme but also for their personal development. The training programme was very challenging and interesting. The entire process gave us an idea of how to do things at home on our own. Gökhan Yuksel Turkish Engineer - BILSAT-1 mission Customer engineers work alongside experienced SSTL staff, and are integral to the project team, with access to all necessary tools, information and documentation. They receive a high level of support through a dedicated training manager and individual mentors.
