Sabre highly recommends that each person using the Sabre system have their own unique login. This document describes the elements that make up an EPR, how to build an EPR, how to assign a PIN number, how to change passcodes using an established PIN number, and how to clear or reset EPR passcodes. Your EPR controls which functions you can or can not perform in the system. EPRs contain many different components including: o o o o o Agent ID Agent Sine Duty Codes Keywords Passcode Sabre Car, Hotel, & Insurance Vendor Employee Profile RecordsTraining Guide May 2007Vendor Employee Profile Records 3

T h e C R E A T E k e y w o r d Before we begin this guide we need to make sure that you have the necessary keyword required to build or update other EPR s. The CREATE keyword is the keyword that allows the agent to build new EPR s or to update/modify and change passcodes on existing EPR s. To verify that your login has the CREATE keyword type HU* after you have logged into Sabre. HU*«PERSONAL UATS IN AAA PTRAGT SUBMGR UNVPAR UATS FOUND ONLY IN EPR CREATE MULSET SUBMGR TREXEX HTLDBM HOTELS Once you have verified that your login has the CREATE keyword you may continue with this document. We will explain more about keywords below. C i t y S i g n T a b l e ( C S T ) The City Sign Table is a list of all persons at an associate who have access to the Sabre system. The system obtains the CST data from the individual EPRs that have been created for that vendor. The format to view the City Sign Table is H*CST H*CST«FWH 24MAY07 1154A CST AGENT ID NAME ST A/S GR OFC A SCR DUTY CODES 1234HXX T EPR TEST A AXX 0 0000 L 000 */ TOTAL CNT - 0001 Sabre Car, Hotel, & Insurance Vendor Employee Profile RecordsTraining Guide May 2007 The CREATE keyword 4

The prefix before the chain code varies between Car and Hotel vendors. H is assigned to identify Hotel vendors, C for Car vendors, and I is assigned for Insurance vendors. E l e m e n t s o f a v e n d o r E P R 1. Name of employee: First initial and Last Name of the employee that will be using this EPR. 2. PCC that EPR belongs to: Home PCC that this EPR belongs to. 3. Agent sine: The Agent sine identifies this agent. The agent sine appears in history of PNR s and can be used to track who updated a PNR/Property. 4. EPR/ID Number: The EPR/ID Number is the login that will be used to login to Sabre. To differentiate between a car, hotel, and insurance vendors Sabre uses H in the ID number for Hotels, C for Car vendors, and I for Insurance vendors. These automatically add special Keywords for specific vendor functionality. 5. PCC s that the EPR has AAA access to: This shows what PCC s the agent has access to. Most vendor EPR s have AAA access to their Alpha numeric PCC for testing in an Travel Agency environment. 6. Duty codes: Duty codes control what login capabilities the agent has access to. Vendors will always have a * and /. 7. Keywords: Keywords control what functions the agent has the capabilities to do. This controls Database updates and other various functions. 8. Status: This shows if an EPR is Active or Inactive. This area will also show if an EPR is locked out of Sabre. 9. Passcode Status: Shows if the current passcode is a Temporary Passcode or Passcode if the passcode has already been set. Sabre Car, Hotel, & Insurance Vendor Employee Profile RecordsTraining Guide May 2007 Vendor EPR 5

B u i l d i n g a v e n d o r E P R All vendors have the ability to create/build their own EPR s. It is recommended that each and every employee, that uses Sabre on a regular basis, have their own individual EPR for each chain they work with. 1. Sign into Sabre with an existing EPR that matches the chain of the new EPR you want to create. 2. Display the CST table. This will list the current EPR s that have been built under your home PCC. H*CST 3. Determine what EPR/ID number you want to use for the new login. You may not have duplicate ID numbers for the same chain. Checking the CST above will show which ID s have already been used. 4. Enter build mode for the EPR HB9876HXX 9876 is the ID number you are building HXX would be the chain that you are creating this EPR for. This should be chain code that you are currently logged in with. 5. Enter Authorization of the person creating the EPR H/AUTH CREATING AGENTS NAME 6. Enter the name of agent this EPR is for H/NAM LAST NAME/F (F = First Initial of First Name). 7. Enter Duty Code for EPR H/DTY*/ - All vendors should use * and / 8. Enter Keywords that this login needs access to For Hotel vendors: H/UAT/A-HTLDBM,MULSET,TREXEX,ACCTBL,SUBMGR For Car vendors: H/UAT/A-CARATE,CARPOL,MULSET,TREXEX,SUBMGR For Insurance vendors: H/UAT/A-COMMSG,INSVEN,PTRAGT,SUBMGR These are the standard keywords that are required for vendor functionality. Each keyword is separated by a comma (,). Page 10 of this document has a list of the vendor keywords that may be entered into an EPR and their descriptions. Only 6 keywords may be added in a single entry. If more keywords are required a second entry H/UAT/A- entry may be used. 9. Assign temporary passcode H/PASS ABC1234 This will be the passcode that the agent will login to Sabre with the first time. Passcodes must be 7-8 alpha numeric characters and cannot contain the letters Q, Z or contain certain proper words. 10. Re-display the EPR and verify that you have not missed any of the above entries H*. 11. Assign agent sine and end build mode HH/AXX The agent sine (AXX) is a 2 alpha numeric character code that will identify this agent in Sabre. The agent sine must be unique; no two EPR s can have the same agent sine. Most vendors will use the agent s initials (if available) to easily identify the agent, however numbers may also be used. C l e a r i n g a n d u n l o c k i n g a n e x i s t i n g E P R p a s s c o d e When a passcode has been entered into Sabre more then 3 times incorrectly the EPR will enter a locked state. In order to unlock the EPR the passcode must be reset and cleared before the EPR can be used again. The login that is going to be used to change the passcode of another must contain the CREATE keyword. 1. Sign into Sabre with an existing EPR that matches the chain of the new EPR you want to unlock/clear. 2. Enter build mode HB1234HXX 3. Enter authorization of person clearing the passcode H/AUTH FIRST LAST 4. Clear and Assign temporary passcode to unlock EPR H/PASS ABC1234 5. End EPR build mode HE The same passcode may not be used twice in a row. New Passcodes must be 7 to 8 characters in length. Passcodes must contain both Alpha and Numeric characters. Passcodes may not include formal names and some reserved words. Passcodes cannot contain the letters Q or Z. D e l e t i n g a E m p l o y e e P r o f i l e R e c o r d When an agent leaves your company it is recommended to delete their EPR. This will allow a new agent to use the old EPR number and to avoid unnecessary clutter on the City Sign Table. Use the following steps to delete an existing EPR. 1. Sign into Sabre with an existing EPR that matches the chain of the new EPR you want to unlock/clear. 2. Enter build mode HB1234HXX 3. Enter authorization of person clearing the passcode H/AUTH FIRST LAST 4. Clear and Assign temporary passcode to unlock EPR HX*REUSE Once an EPR is deleted it cannot be re-instated. You will need to start the build process in order to rebuild the EPR.
