SIKA KIMIA SDN BHD DATE OF INCORPORATION Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd (180715-X) was incorporated on 8 April 1989 under the name of Total Triump Sdn Bhd. Under the name of Sika-Johnson Coating (M) Sdn Bhd of which the change of name took place on 15 September 1989, it commenced operations on 1 January 1990 as a non-licensed manufacturer when it took over the production of Johnson Coating (M) Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Blue Circle Products (M) Sdn Bhd). Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd (SKSB) was granted its first Manufacturing Licence on 7 August 1992 (No. A008334). EQUITY & OWNERSHIP The authorised and issued paid-up share capital of SKSB is - Authorised: RM5,000,000.00 Paid up : RM4,200,000.00 The equity is wholly-owned by Sika AG, Zugerstrasse 50, CH-6341, Baar 1, Switzerland (a public company listed in Switzerland). The facilities located here on a 7-acre site house the production plants, warehouse and laboratory as well as head offices for Finance & Administration, Customer Service & Logistics and the Technical Department. Sika s Regional Technology Support Centre (RTSC), which serves the Asia Pacific Region, is also located on the Nilai site. In addition to our factory in Nilai, SKSB also have plants in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and Ipoh, Perak. SKSB also operates additional sales & technical sales support in Petaling Jaya, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. HUMAN RESOURCES Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd has a workforce of more than 170 staff comprising of managerial, technical, sales & supervisory, administrative staff, factory, lab and QC workers.
