NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE APPLIES ONLY TO DOGS WHOLLY OWNED BY A NON CKC MEMBER AND ARE NOT APPLICABLE TO CKC MEMBERS An annual non-member participation fee for awards and titles will be charged to a Canadian non-member of CKC. The fee will match the ERN fee. In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choice either to become a CKC member or to pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will cause all awards and titles to be cancelled. ERN Effective Jan. 1, 1992, all dogs that are foreign born and foreign owned and enter Canada for the sole purpose of entering CKC events will not longer require a CKC registration number but will require an Event Registration Number (ERN). This ERN number does not register a dog with the CKC for breeding purposes as defined in the Animal Pedigree Act, but rather enables a foreign born and foreign owned dog to be awarded titles by the Canadian Kennel Club. Each dog must have its own number. To obtain an ERN number, simply do the following: Send a photocopy of the dog s registration certificate reflecting current ownership, for example: AKC Registration Certificate, with a written request for an ERN number. Include with the above a cheque or money order in the amount of $53.50 payable to the Canadian Kennel Club. Ensure that you provide the CKC with your full return address to enable the ERN number to be sent to you. FAXED requests will be accepted. Please include your VISA/MasterCard number, expiry date, cardholders name and signature. The ERN number must be applied for within 30 days of the first day of entering a CKC event. Dogs may be entered as listed, however, failure to apply for an ERN number within 30 days of the first event will result in the cancellations of any wins, awards, and scores. PEN NUMBER TO APPLY FOR OR TO OBTAIN INFORMATION ON THE PEN NO. CONTACT THE SHOWS AND TRIALS DIVISION AT THE CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB OR VISIT THEIR WEB SITE AT: www.ckc.ca. (ONLINE FORMS)
