In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. (For a Membership application, please go to under CKC Services and Forms On-Line). The Non-Member Participation Fee is fee paid in the calendar year (January December) in which the dog achieved its title and/or titles. FAX ENTRIES: (450) VISA / Mastercard / American Express DESS will accept entries when paid by credit card on behalf of the club. The fee for this service is 20% of the total fees. A fee of $25.00 will be levied on all declined credit cards & NSF cheques. ATTENTION FOREIGN EXHIBITORS Please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian dollars. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian funds. If you send a cheque in US funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. Please do not mark cheques Payable in Canadian Funds or At Par. They will not be cleared by the banks. To simplify the process, we urge that you purchase bank drafts or money orders payable in Canadian funds. Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated. All brachycephalic dogs, as well as the Chinese Shar-Pei, will be judged in the early morning for Shows 1 and 3 and we will certainly try to put them on last for Shows 2 and 4. The remainder of the groups may be judged at a different time. 3 4

ALL-BREED SWEEPSTAKES Thursday, June 30, Noon JUDGE Benjamin Chin RR #2, Brockville, ON K6V 5T2 CLASSES - (not divided by sex) will be: Classes: Junior (6 to 9 months), Senior (9 to 12 months), Open (12 to 18 months) All Junior Dogs will compete in their respective groups with a First, Second, Third and Fourth placement. All Senior Dogs and Open Dogs will compete in a like manner. All Junior finalists will compete for Best Junior in Sweepstakes. All Senior finalists will compete for Best Senior in Sweepstakes. All Open finalists will compete for Best Open in Sweepstakes. Best Junior, Senior and Open will compete for Best in Sweepstakes. A rosette will be awarded for Best Junior, Senior, Open and Best in Sweepstakes. Prize Money will be divided as follows: Classes: Pee Wee Junior Intermediate Senior Best Overall JUNIOR HANDLING Held under CKC Rules. Judge to be announced day of show. 4-6 yrs. (non-competitive) 7-10 yrs. (Novice and Open) yrs. (Novice and Open) 15- up to but not including 18 yrs. (Novice and Open) (excluding Pee Wee) All dogs must be entered in one of the official Classes or Exhibition Only on the day of the competition. Entry st to be made at the show. Ages for all Classes is December 31 as of the preceding year. A prize and rosette will be offered by the Bobcaygeon Kennel Club for Best Overall Junior Handler. Best in each age class - 50% of the entry fees collect in that class. Best in Sweepstakes - 25% of the total entry fees 25% of the total entry fees will be held for administrative purposes. To enter All Breed Sweepstakes, dogs must be entered in one of the regular CKC classes in the all-breed show on CAMPING Camp at the Show Site - close proximity to rings. Lunch and snack bar available. CAMPING FEES FOR THE WEEKEND: $25.00 / night - No Reservations - Please pay at the show DUMP STATION on site. BEST CANADIAN BRED COMPETITION CANADIAN BRED BOX MUST BE CHECKED OFF ON THE ENTRY FORM. Dogs may be entered in any class to compete. Rosette and $50.00 for Best Canadian Bred in Show. Judging of CB will take place after Breed Judging Competition unless automatic. 1. CB Best of Breed will be selected from the dogs eligible to compete for BB. 2. If the Best of Breed dog is CB it will automatically be the CB BB. 3. If ineligible, then the next highest CB placement will compete against the eligible dogs of the opposite sex. 4. Should none of the BB competitive dogs be CB then any CB dogs (not directly or indirectly defeated in the classes by an CB dog) will be invited back. 5. The CB BB dogs will compete for Best CB in Group immediately after Regular Group Judging. 6. Should the Regular Group 1st dog be CB then it will be automatically CB in Group. 7. If no CB places in the Group (1-4) then all BB CB dogs will be called into the ring for CB Group Judging. 8. In no case may a dog earn more than five points at any single show. ATTENTION ALL FOREIGN EXHIBITORS To obtain an ERN simply do the following: - Send a photocopy of the dog's registration certificate reflecting current ownership - with a written request for an ERN. - Include full payment in the amount of $59.40 plus tax. Accounts may be paid with personal or business cheque, money order, Visa or Mastercard. For Non-Members please note that if paying by cheque, the cheque must be certified. Non-residents of Canada please note that discounted cheques or money orders will not be accepted due to fluctuating currency rates. - Provide us with your full return address. - Faxed requests will be accepted. 5 STEAK BAR-B-Q We are back to our original ribeye s The Bobcaygeon Kennel Club will be having a Steak Bar-B-Q on Thursday, June 30, hour after Best in Show. The menu will be steak, baked potato, salad, beverage and watermelon. Bring your culinary skills with you, because you will be cooking your own steak. Cost for this feast is $ each or $ 6.00 for children under 12 years. Pre-registration will take place on Thursday, June 30, 2016 There will be a sign-up sheet at the Show Secretary s table. MOTELS Dogs will be accepted at these motels but must be crated. Owners will be responsible and liable for damages, and must clean up after their dogs on Motel grounds. Please co-operate, we want the Motels to welcome our exhibitors and their dogs next year. Or, from Highway 7, turn right on Elm Street and proceed to Fairgrounds. From West (Toronto area): Take Highway 401 East to Highway 45 (Baltimore Road), North on 45 to Norwood. Turn right on Alma and proceed to Fairgrounds. From East (Centre Hastings): Take Highway 7 West into Norwood, turn left on Elm Street and proceed to Fairgrounds. From South-East: Travel West to Highway 30, North on 30, West of Campbellford, take 35 to 45 and travel North (right). OR travel North on 30 to Highway 7 and turn West (left) into Norwood (see map below). From North: Take Highway 40 or 46 South to Highway 7, travel West (right) into Norwood to Elm Street. Moving class dogs to specials is permitted. An error in the class, date of birth or sex many be amended on the entryform up to one hour before the start of the show. 2.. All entry confirmations and Judging Schedules will be sent as soon as possible after entries close. 3. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY the receive of any electronic entries prior to the advertised closing date. A valid means of payment must accompany all entries. 4. All exhibitors should review Section 4.1-Judges-General, sub sections 4.1.3, & of the CKC Conformation Rules and Regulations. 5. Exhibitors must abide by errors made in entering their dogs regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. 6. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to have the dog in the ring when the dog s class is called to be judged. 7 The Bobcaygeon Kennel Club, its officers and associates will use due care & diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune, to either dogs, exhibitors, or patrons. If because of riots civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the management, and it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fees will be made. 8. The Show Superintendent will be in complete charge of the show and/or trial which will be governed by the rules of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) 9. SHOW PRECINCTS - The Show precincts shall consist of all areas set out for rings, all shelters or facilities set aside for show officials, judges or exhibitors and handlers, and an area of 30 feet outside of the judging rings. 10. Judging will commence no earlier than 8:00 am each day. An later starting time may be specified in the judging schedule. 9 10
