Mobilized all the available resources to make the event a success. Established a long lasting communication and relationship with organizations working in the development sector. More than 20,000 people belonging to different walks of life visited the event. Study Tour Organizer/Leader, Centre for Disaster Preparedness and Management (CDPM), University of Peshawar-Pakistan Organized and led five successful Study Tours with students to different areas of Pakistan. A diverse range of activities were arranged during the trips including presentations on the vulnerable areas, Forestation, Land Slides Studies and collection of data from respondents in the field. During these trips a series of seminars on Emergency Management were also organized in collaboration with Rescue 1122. The training focused on the key issues related to flood hazard, vulnerability of population and the risk assessment methodologies introduced by different disaster management practitioners in Pakistan. 2014 Live Online Consultation: World Humanitarian Summit Attended the second Session of Online Consultation hosted by International Association of Professionals in Humanitarian Assistance and Protection (PHAP).
