The lab looks at how temperament changes throughout development. The lab also studies how parents influence a child s temperament and emotional stability. - Assisted with conducting and recording the laboratory tasks. - Helped with coding and data entry. - Learned how to code and understand children s facial, vocal, and bodily expressions. - Enhanced knowledge in the area of child temperament. WORK EXPERIENCE Lab Coordinator and Research Technician September 2012- July 2013 Ofen Lab for Cognitive and Brain Development, Wayne State University Principal Investigator: Noa Ofen, Ph.D. The Ofen Lab s research focuses on memory and brain development throughout the lifespan. Participants take behavioral assessments to help measure IQ levels, cognitive abilities, and memory skills. While inside an MRI, participants do various memory tasks. - Administered behavioral assessments to children, adolescents, and young adults.
