Freeze one option based on MyGov polling Selection of best 3 Options Basic Infrastructure Assessment Sector profiling: Assessment of sectors/ wards based on census data water supply, electricity, sanitation, drainage & house structure Prioritization of top wards Identifying best sectors/ wards in terms of level of preparedness in terms of accessibility and availability of existing infrastructure to facilitate quick implementation and demonstration Delineate Contiguous Zones Combining selected sectors/ wards together to form options of contiguous zones Top 3 options were selected & delineated based best fitted against 24 parameters Uploading of these 3 options on MyGov for polling. 9

Awareness Generation Walks, Talks, Kiosks, Street Plays Smart City walk organized for citizens Samvad Session conducted by Tourism Department for promoting citizen engagement MyGov talk held with slum association, women association, students, senior citizen, elected representatives and administration 16

Awareness Generation Drawing and Essay Competitions 471 entries were received for Drawing/ Poster competition 3657 entries received from Essay competition organized for school children of class 8 to 12 310 essays received on MyGov platform on defining city vision 17

Stakeholder Consultations Workshops and Focused Group Discussions 13 Ward consultations with each consultation covering 2 wards; all 26 wards covered More than 7500 participants including RWA members, councilors in ward consultations 570 participants in 14 workshops organized with companies 18

Crowd Sourcing: Leveraging Social Media Mygov.in, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube 20,000 submissions from citizens on MyGov website on vision and goals 56,480 Likes on Chandigarh Smart city Facebook page 19
