High productivity ports: Making supply chains more efficient Customers can achieve improved supply chain efficiency, lower operating costs and global synergies through use of APM Terminals integrated and expanding Global Terminal Network. A total of 12 port facilities within the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network scored positions within the JOC Group s 2014 annual global port and terminal productivity rankings, including APM Terminals Yokohama, which again led all container facilities with 186 crane moves per hour (MPH) with a vessel alongside. Nine facilities either operated by APM Terminals, or in which APM Terminals holds a significant financial interest, were included among the world s 25 most productive terminals, with three more members of the APM Terminals portfolio listed as among regional top performers. Six terminals, in which APM Terminals is an investor or joint venture partner, among the Top 25 global leaders, are located at Chinese ports: Qingdao Qianwan Container Terminal, and Tianjin Port Alliance International Container Terminal tied for third place with 136 MPH; Xiamen Songyu Container Terminal, tied for sixth place with 124 MPH; Tianjin Port Euroasia International Container Terminal, is in seventh place with 121 MPH; Guangzhou South China Oceangate Container Terminal, ranked 10th with 117 MPH; and Dalian Port Container Terminal, ranked 12th, with 108 MPH. South Asia Gateway Terminal, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is tied for 11th place with 111 MPH. APM Terminals Rotterdam tied for first place among European terminal operations with 101 MPH, a performance which also merited a three-way tie for 16th place among the global terminal productivity leaders. APM Terminals Los Angeles was the highest ranking port for productivity in North America, with 92 MPH. Within the JOC Group s Europe, Middle East and Africa grouping, The Port of Salalah, Oman; and NTB North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven, in both of which APM Terminals is a shareholder, tied for fifth place with 96 MPH. In productivity while working vessels of over 8,000 TEU capacity, Qingdao Qianwan Container Terminal (QQCT) tied for first place globally, with 157 MPH. TEUs within seven years. Increased terminal productivity will be a major factor in accommodating both that growth, and the larger vessels now entering the global container fleet, including those with capacities exceeding 20,000 TEUs. APM Terminals remains the only global terminal operating company with such a notable and widespread presence in the JOC Group s annual terminal productivity rankings. All JOC study rankings were calculated from a database with a minimum of 100 vessel call records generated in 2014. The future Total global GDP has been projected to surpass $76 trillion USD in 2016 ($118 trillion by PPP), and $96 trillion by 2020. Emerging and developing economies now account for more than half (50.4%) of global economic output, and nearly two fifths (38.9%) of all exports of goods and services. As this share of world trade will continue to grow to reflect relative size of GDP, port and terminal infrastructure and investment will become increasingly important, particularly in these economically emerging regions currently constrained by inadequate access to modern port and logistics infrastructure. To responsibly accommodate anticipated trade volumes in such areas as Southeast Asia, Latin America, sub-saharan Africa, the Middle East and the Indian sub-continent, development must proceed in concert with environmental concerns as well as sensitivity to local, regional and national circumstances and needs. APM Terminals recent milestones include: December APM Terminals Los Angeles Pier 400 received the largest container ship to call at a US port with the arrival of the 17,700 TEU capacity CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin on its maiden voyage from the Far East. The Port of Salalah, which is operated by APM Terminals, inaugurated a new deep-water General Cargo and Liquid Bulk Terminal, adding 20 million tons of dry cargo and six million tons of liquid bulk cargo annual handling capacity. November APM Terminals enters into a joint venture with Qingdao Port International for the newly developed Qingdao Port Dongjiakou Multi-Purpose Terminal. APM Terminals will hold a 20% share in the facility, which is part of the Qingdao Port complex, one of the world s busiest ports, ranking seventh globally handling a total of 468 million metric tons in 2014. The Dongjiakou Port area of Qingdao is set to become a national hub of Chinese bulk and energy cargos. With local Jordanian partner Kawar Group, APM Terminals officially opens the expanded Aqaba Logistics Village. The newly completed ALV Phase 2 facility includes 13,000 square meters (3.2 acres) of multi-purpose warehousing alongside 40,000 square meters (9.8 acres) of open yard. ALV Phase 2 has been designed to allow the flexibility of handling a wide variety of cargoes as regional and international trading patterns continue to evolve in the Middle East. ALV s two distribution center warehouses are located in close proximity to Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT), which is a joint venture between APM Terminals and the Aqaba Development Corporation, and is managed by APM Terminals. October 2015 APM Terminals was named Port Operator of the Year at the Lloyd s List 2015 Global Awards ceremony in London. APM Terminals Rotterdam Maasvlakte II set a new record for the Port of Rotterdam, loading 17,152 TEU onto the EEE-Class Madison Maersk. This operational record included stacking containers ten high above deck stowage aboard the 18,300 TEU capacity Ultra-Large Containership. September 2015 APM Terminals Pipavav handled its largest container ship, the 9,971 TEU capacity Maersk Saltoro, which at 299 meters in length, was the largest vessel ever to call Port Pipavav. APM Terminals and Barcelona-based Grup Maritim TCB reach an agreement for APM Terminals acquisition of Grup TCB s 11-terminal portfolio of terminal and inland services operations in Spain, Turkey, Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia and Brazil. The transaction will add 4.3 million TEUs of annual throughput capacity, and annual equity-weighted volume of 3.5 million TEUs to the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network. August 2015 APM Terminals and Colombian-based port and terminal operating company, Compañia de Puertos Asociados S.A. (Compas S.A.) sign a joint venture agreement to jointly manage and operate Compas S.A. s existing multipurpose Cartagena Terminal. APM Terminals will hold a 51% majority share in the joint venture, and APM Terminals and Compas S.A. will jointly invest over USD $200 million to triple the facility s annual throughput capacity. APM Terminals and GF Group announce APM Terminals acquisition of Reefer Terminal S.p.A, at the Port of Vado, Italy, the largest refrigerated terminal in the Mediterranean. Operations will ultimately be integrated into the APM Terminals Vado scheduled to open in 2018. July 2015 APM Terminals Apapa established a new productivity record by handling 868 containers on the 4,500 TEU capacity Safmarine Chambal over 11 and a half hours, for a Gross Crane Productivity of 19 container moves per crane hour, and a Berth Productivity of 75.63 MPH. APM Terminals Apapa became the first container terminal in Africa to surpass the 75 MPH operational benchmark. Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP), in which APM Terminals holds a 50% share, surpassed one thousand vessel calls, and one million containers handled in one year and eight months since beginning operations. In the first half of 2015, BTP has handled 363,921 TEUs, a 167% increase over the number of containers handled during the first six months of 2014. The completion of the dredging of the navigation channel has now enabled larger vessels to call, contributing to the increase in container volume. Total container throughput in 2014 was 736,711 TEUs. June 2015 A signing ceremony between APM Terminals, in partnership with Bolloré Africa Logistics, and the Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority was hosted by the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, finalizing the agreement to invest $1.5 billion in a new deepwater 3.5 million TEU port and logistics hub in Tema. APM Terminals Rotterdam Maasvlakte II terminal was named the winner of the Innovation of the Year award at the 4th Annual Containerisation International 6

The award was made in recognition of the industry-changing technological advances represented by the world s first fully-automated and emissions-free, sustainably-powered container terminal. A total of 12 port facilities within the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network scored positions within the JOC Group s 2014 annual global port and terminal productivity rankings, including APM Terminals Yokohama, which again led all container facilities with 186 crane moves per hour (MPH). Nine facilities either operated by APM Terminals, or in which APM Terminals holds a significant financial interest, were included among the world s 25 most productive terminals, with three more members of the APM Terminals portfolio listed as among regional top performers. May 2015 APM Terminals Itajaí set a new productivity record by completing 125 Berth Moves per Hour (BMPH) on April 26th while working the 8,600 TEU capacity Maersk Lamanai. The 125 BMPH was accomplished with two Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes supplemented by two of APM Terminals Itajaí s three Mobile Harbor Cranes (MHCs). The terminal s previous record of 123.67 BMPH had been established with the much smaller 2,700 TEU capacity CMA CGM Ilva in October 2014. April 2015 APM Terminals hosted the official opening of the new APM Terminals Maasvlakte II Rotterdam facility, the world s most technologically advanced and environmentally sustainable container terminal, with a celebration attended by The Netherlands Monarch King Willem-Alexander, and 500 senior representatives from the global shipping industry and national governments. The state-of-the-art deepwater facility is the world s first designed to use remotecontrolled STS cranes coordinated with fully automated yard operations, providing new annual throughput capacity of 2.7 million TEUs to Europe s largest container port. APM Terminals Mumbai established a new annual container throughput record for Indian ports by handling a total of 2.01 million TEUs during the Fiscal Year of 2014-15, representing the period from April 1st, 2014 to March 31st, 2015. APM Terminals Mumbai was India s busiest container terminal in 2014. March 2015 APM Terminals Pier 400 Los Angeles won two awards at the 66th Annual Pacific Maritime Association (PMA) Area Accident Prevention Committee Safety Awards. The first was the PMA Coast Accident Prevention Awards ceremony in the category of Terminal Operations, Group A, for the best Safety Performance achieved in 2014 in all operations at US West Coast ports. This is the sixth year out of the last eight that APM Terminals Los Angeles facility has received this award. APM Terminals Pier 400 also won the Southern California Area Container Terminal Safety Award for Group A. APM Terminals Apapa named the Most Environmentally Conscious Port Operator at the Lagos Port Complex by the Nigerian Port Authority s Environment Department of the Health, Safety and Environment Division, in recognition of the company s achievements in the area of terminal safety culture and operating practices in Nigeria s primary port city. Establishing a new record for US port operations, three Ultra-Large Container Ships (ULCS) with nominal respective capacities of 13,000 TEUs each, called APM Terminals Pier 400 Los Angeles between February 22nd and March 7th, representing a combined total of nearly 35,000 container moves over the period, including loading 28 double stack container trains. This was the first time that three ULCSs were docked and worked simultaneously at any US Port. February 2015 The 16,650 TEU capacity MSC London became the largest vessel to call the French port of Fos, as part of the Mediterranean Shipping Company s weekly Dragon Service linking Asia with major Mediterranean Sea ports. APM Terminals was named Port Operator of the Year at the second annual Lloyd s List North American Maritime Awards, in Houston. January 2015 The Maersk McKinney Moller left APM Terminals Algeciras with a world record 18,168 TEUs loaded, the most ever carried aboard a single vessel. The new record exceeded the previous record of 17,603 TEUs carried by the Mary Maersk, also set by APM Terminals Algeciras, in 2014. December 2014 APM Terminals Maasvlakte II began landside operations, and received its first commercial vessel call to reposition empty containers, as procedure and live testing of cranes, and rail, truck and barge operations began final stages for the official 2015 commercial opening. A contract was also signed for the supply of environmentally sustainable windgenerated electricity to power container handling equipment, which will make the world s most automated terminal also the world s only completely emission-free facility. 7

APM Terminals recent milestones (continued) APM Terminals Port Elizabeth was recognized as the productivity leader among container terminals in North America at the JOC Port Performance Conference North America, in Newark. APM Terminals Port Elizabeth averaged 82 crane moves per hour with a vessel alongside during the first six months of 2014. APM Terminals Houston ranked third with 68 MPH. Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company, part of the Global Ports holdings and the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network, successfully completed a trial run of a sixday trans-siberian rail service between Vostochny and the Paveletskaya rail freight station in Moscow. November 2014 APM Terminals Rotterdam was cited by the JOC Group as the productivity leader among Europe s container facilities for the first half of 2014, with 102 crane moves per hour with a vessel alongside at the JOC Europe Port Performance. NTB North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven, also part of the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network and in which APM Terminals holds a 50% ownership share, received the award for second place, with 97 MPH. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Government of Ghana for a private investment of USD $1 billion for the expansion of Tema Port. The Meridian Port Services Joint Venture will add four deep-water berths and increase the annual container throughput capacity of Ghana s primary port to 3.5 million TEUs. October 2014 APM Terminals Pecém, Brazil announced a USD $22 million investment program in new cranes and equipment which will double the annual container throughput capacity of the facility to 480,000 TEUs. The new STS cranes are scheduled to be operational by March 2015. September 2014 Peruvian President Ollanta Humala toured APM Terminals Callao, where four new Super Post-Panamax ship-to-shore (STS) cranes and 12 new electric Rubber-Tire Gantry (RTG) cranes had been delivered as part of the company s $750 million infrastructure investment and improvement program for the terminal. The STS cranes, the largest in the world, with a 23 container-wide reach, will be able to accommodate vessels of up to 16,000 TEU capacity. August 2014 The Merete Maersk became the eighth EEE-Class vessel to call the Port of Vostochny, following the vessel s launch at South Korea s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering shipyard. The 18,300 TEU capacity vessels are being delivered at the rate of approximately one per month until the 20-vessel order has been completed. July 2014 APM Terminals Algeciras set a new global record for containers loaded onto a single vessel with 17,491 TEUs stowed onto the EEE-Class Mary Maersk. The terminal handled both the Mary Maersk and the Maersk Matz, another 18,000 capacity EEE-Class vessel on the same day. June 2014 The JOC Group s 2013 study of port productivity data retained APM Terminals Yokohama as the world s leading container terminal in productivity with 163 container moves per vessel hour (MPH). Eleven facilities which are part of the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network were cited in the study, out of a total of 32 terminals named as the global, and three regional designations productivity leaders. These included APM Terminals Port Elizabeth, and APM Terminals Los Angeles, which were named the first and second most productive terminals in the JOC s Americas grouping, with 104 and 96 MPH, respectively. Five facilities in which APM Terminals has interests were cited among the world s 11 most productive container terminals, which in addition to APM Terminals Yokohama, included Tianjin Port Eurasia International Container Terminal (TECT) in third place at 139 MPH; Qingdao Qianwan Container Terminal (QQCT) and Xiamen Songyu Container Terminal (XSCT), tied for fourth place with 132 MPH; and 8

APM Terminals Houston, with 2013 productivity of 83 MPH, ranked sixth in the JOC s Americas region, bringing to three the number of APM Terminals facilities listed among the Americas 10 leading terminals. The APM Terminals portfolio also placed three facilities in the JOC s Europe, Africa and Middle East Region, with APM Terminals Rotterdam ranking third with 99 MPH, the Port of Salalah, ranking sixth with 91 MPH, and NTB North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven, ranking seventh, with 90 MPH. APM Terminals Gothenburg announced plans to implement two new specialized rail cranes and the completion of an expansion project which will add a sixth access track, bringing the total to 750 meters with the capability of accommodating three full trains simultaneously, increasing rail capacity by 50% this year. Aqaba Container Terminal, operated by APM Terminals, announced plans to upgrade the supply chain capabilities of its subsidiary, Aqaba Logistics Village at Jordan s Red Sea Gateway port. The General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM) once again awarded APM Terminals Tangier certification for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). May 2014 Sogester Namibe received the 207-meter long, geared containership Nile Dutch Gemsbok as the first vessel call of a new 20-year concession agreement concluded for the operation, maintenance and development of the Port of Namibe, Angola. The APM Terminals joint venture also operates the Sogester Container Terminal at the primary Angolan port of Luanda. APM Terminals Algeciras received delivery of four STS cranes, currently the largest container cranes in the world, designed specifically to work Ultra-Large Container Ships of 18,000 TEU capacity and larger. The completion of the $55 million USD terminal enhancement project leaves the facility with eight STS cranes able to accommodate the world container fleet s largest vessels. The Port of Salalah was presented with the Global Green Award at the Green Economy Forum, in Berlin, Germany. The award was given in recognition of Salalah s environmental achievements and commitment to sustainability over the past five years. An emissions reduction initiative has resulted in the decline of CO2 output at the facility from 73,044 kg in 2009 to 53,204 kg in 2013. April 2014 Brasil Terminal Portuário introduced general cargo- ro/ro operations with a new service agreement with Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics. The service will call South America s most modern port facility at the port of Santos every 15 days. Berth 1 was reopened at APM Terminals Itajai, increasing annual throughput capacity by 60%. The newly rebuilt 300 meter long wharf had been destroyed by flooding in 2011. March 2014 A new industry record for containers loaded onto a single vessel was established by APM Terminals Tangier with the loading of 15,833 onto the Madison Maersk, an EEE- Class vessel with a published capacity of 18,000 TEUs. APM Terminals India s Chennai CFS facility was named winner of the 2013 Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Excellence Award by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the implementation of EHS Best Practices. The distinction was awarded following an audit of the Chennai CFS through an on-site assessment of EHS systems and practices of conformance to statutory requirements, risk assessment, performance metrics, emergency prevention and established response protocols. In order to qualify, a managerial assessment is conducted by an independent entity which has been accredited by the CGEM. 2014 Financial results Highlights Revenue USD $4.45 billion Segment result after tax was a profit of USD $900 million Return on Invested Capital of 14.7% Invested capital of USD $5.93 billion 38.3 million TEU throughput (based on equity share) Container volume growth of 5% APM Terminals reported a profit of USD $900 million in 2014 supported by higher volumes throughout the portfolio, tariff improvements in growth markets and divestment gains. APM Terminals is on track to achieve the USD $1 billion profit target set for 2016. The new fully automated flagship terminal at Maasvlakte II, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, commenced initial operations, and significant progress was made on the many other new terminal projects and expansions across the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network. The global market for container terminal handling developed positively in 2014, with an overall growth of 5%, a growth rate matched by APM Terminals. APM Terminals is a leading global developer and operator of container terminal infrastructure, serving the growing need for port infrastructure to accommodate expanding global trade and the larger vessels being deployed by the container shipping lines on all major trade lanes. The larger vessels place increased demands on port infrastructure, both on the quayside, where larger cranes may be needed, and on the landside, where the yard, the gate complex, the connecting road and rail infrastructure need to be able to efficiently process the larger concentration of volume carried by the larger ships. Financial Performance The number of containers handled by the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network (weighted APM Terminals equity share) grew by 5% compared with 2013. Total revenue increased by 3%. While port revenue exceeded the volume growth, inland services revenue decreased as a result of the divestment of activities in the Americas and Asia to optimize the portfolio. The result generated a return on invested capital (ROIC) of 14.7%. The underlying profit was USD $849 million, resulting in an underlying ROIC of 13.9%. The increased profit was supported by higher volumes throughout the portfolio, combined with tariff improvements in growth markets. The result was positively impacted by net divestment gains after tax of USD $232 million, and negatively affected by USD $181 million impairments related to European activities, of which USD $154 million was related to joint venture companies. APM Terminals achieved a 2.1% improvement in the EBITDA-margin supported by commercial and operational efficiency drives, generating more than USD $100 million in cost savings. Several supplier contracts were renegotiated during the year, and upgrades to the terminal operating system enabled further process efficiencies to be pursued in several of the largest terminals. Cash flow from operating activities of USD $925 million did not improve in line with operational results due to increased tax payments and slightly reduced working capital. Cash flow used for capital expenditure was more than offset by cash flow generated by divestments in 2014. The divestment of APM Terminal Virginia, USA, notably lead to a positive cash flow of USD $2 million. APM Terminals continued a high level of investment in the development of its port interests, both in the form of new projects and expansions to existing ports. Invested capital came in at USD $5.9 billion, a decrease of 4% compared with the previous year. Portfolio The USD $750 million expansion project in Callao, Peru continues and the first new container berth is scheduled to open in the 3rd Quarter of 2015, which will provide the terminal with the capacity to receive container vessels as large as 18,000 TEUs. At several other locations, expansions and upgrades are ongoing to equip terminals to handle the largest container vessels in operation. The Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia, inaugurated berths 13 and 14 during the 1st Quarter, and at Pier 400, Los Angeles, USA cranes were raised. In August, APM Terminals completed the sale of its 100% share of APM Terminals Virginia, Portsmouth, USA. The construction of Maasvlakte II, The Netherlands, has been completed and operations commenced with volumes expected to ramp up during 2015. Maasvlakte II sets new standards within the industry, in terms of automation, safety and environmental impact. Final permits were received to start construction of a new greenfield container terminal in Moin, Costa Rica. APM Terminals joint venture Sociedade Gestora de Terminais S.A. (Sogester), Angola, signed a 20-year concession to operate, maintain and develop the Port of Namibe, Angola, serving both container and general cargo. APM Terminals is continuously assessing the business impact of political developments on trade in and around Russia, and more specifically on the co-controlling ownership share in Global Ports Investments PLC, Russia. In Monrovia, Liberia, APM Terminals continues to serve its customers during the Ebola outbreak that has gripped the region. The terminal is engaging in strict health screening and is also offering aid to the neighboring areas in order to help the region battle this disease. 12

The first award was the PMA Coast Accident Prevention Awards 14 ceremony in the category of Terminal Operations, Group A, (over one million man-hours worked) for the best Safety Performance achieved in 2014 in all operations at US West Coast ports. APM Terminals ongoing investment programs at its terminals and its ability to implement and adapt very effectively global safety, security and environmental guidelines at the local level were cited by the judging panel for the award, as well as APM Terminals Global Terminal Network s success in combining development with continuous improvements in its CSR and environmental policies. Containerisation International 2012 Award for Corporate Social Responsibility The Port of Salalah, managed by APM Terminals, was named winner of the 2012 Containerisation International Award for Corporate Social Responsibility. Nigeria Maritime Excellence Awards Best Terminal Operator of the Year APM Terminals Apapa was named the winner of the 2012 Terminal Operator Award by the Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) at their annual Maritime Excellence Awards ceremony held in December. MARAN was established in 1988 to objectively report activities in the shipping sector in totality and also the activities of all ministries, departments and agencies of government involved in the country s import and export business. All-India Maritime and Logistics Awards 2012 APM Terminals Mumbai was honored as the Container Terminal of the Year as well as winning the Port/Terminal Operator of the Year Safety & Quality award at the Third Annual Awards Gala held in Mumbai. This was their third consecutive win as Container Terminal of the Year. Jordan 2011 Social Security Excellence Award for Occupational Health and Safety Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT), a joint venture between the Aqaba Development Corporation and APM terminals, which manages the facility, was honored with the Kingdom of Jordan s 2011 Social Security Excellence Award for Occupational Health and Safety, the only safety award of its kind to be offered to companies by the Jordanian Social Security Corporation. This recognition, announced in July 2012, was based on ACT s high local and international safety standards across all activities following a comprehensive audit of the facility s safety standards and procedures Pacific Maritime Association Safety Awards For the fifth consecutive year APM Terminals Pier 400 Los Angeles was named winner of both the Category A Southern California Area Container Terminal Safety Award, and the Coast Award for the safest terminal on the Pacific Coast by the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA). APM Terminals Tacoma was named winner of the Washington area s Category C Container Terminal Safety Award and the Coast Award for Category C for the safest terminal on the Pacific Coast. APM Terminals Tacoma also won the award for the Greatest reduction in injury rates for the Washington Area, irrespective of terminal size. 15

The Halpin Award is given as special recognition of the Signal Member company which has exemplified exceptional promotion of employee safety and health throughout their organization, and is presented only in exceptional circumstances. The Signal Mutual Industry Leader Safety Award APM Terminals Pacific Ltd., which performs cargo handling services at APM Terminals Pier 400 Los Angeles and APM Terminals Tacoma, was named winner of the annual Signal Mutual Industry Leader Safety Award in the category of large stevedoring operations (over 500,000 man hours worked) for demonstrating the most improvement of safety performance in terms of declining reported incidents for the past three consecutive years. Seatrade Award for Innovation in Ship Operations APM Terminals was named winner of the 2011 Seatrade Award for Innovation in Ship Operations for the FastNet Crane concept at the 23rd Annual Seatrade Awards in London, cited as an innovative design or device which has the potential to significantly improve the efficiency of any aspect of ship operations and/or cargo handling. First conceived in 2006, patents on FastNet cranes have now been filed in 17 nations as well as the 27 EU member countries. Pacific Maritime Association Safety Awards APM Terminals Pier 400 Los Angeles facility was awarded First Place for the fourth consecutive year in the Pacific Maritime Association s Coast Accident Prevention Awards ceremony in the category of Terminal Operations, Group A, representing terminal operations with one million or more man-hours worked in 2010. APM Terminals Tacoma won Second Place in the Group C category, which includes facilities of between 100,000 and 499,999 man-hours worked. Ecoval Trophy APM Terminals Tangier-Med was recognized with a Sustainability award in January 2011 in Casablanca, at the first annual Ecoval Trophy Awards given by Ecoval Morocco, a subsidiary of Holcim Morocco, which is part of Swiss-based cement and aggregates producer Holcim Ltd. The Ecoval Trophies are presented in three categories covering the collection and recovery of waste oils. APM Terminals Tangier-Med was one of three winners in the category of Eco-Enterprise. 2010 Corporate Governance Award for Transparency and Honesty In September the Corporate Governance Award for Transparency and Honesty was presented to Laem Chabang Terminal B-1 (LCB1) by Mr. Panthep Klanarongran, the Chairman of Thailand s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). The terminal was one of only 15 companies to have been honored for corporate governance in this category by the Thai Government this year. Zero Accident Award (Bronze Level) Thailand s Minister of Labor, Mr. Chalermchai Sri-on, presented the Zero Accident Award (Bronze Level) to Laem Chabang Terminal B-1 (LCB1) in September in recognition of Outstanding Safety Performance, with 1.4 million man-hours of work performed over the course of a year without any Lost-Time Injuries (LTI). Although 102 companies in Thailand were cited for this Bronze level distinction for 2010, LCB1 was notably the only marine terminal to have earned the Safety Award. Special Jury Award, Oman Green Awards The Port of Salalah was honored with the Special Jury Award at the Oman Green Awards in July. The Oman Green Awards are national environmental awards established to recognize outstanding environmental vision, endeavors and achievements. The Special Jury Award honors the company that that stands out from other nominees by excelling in multiple environmental initiatives. The Port of Salalah s nomination was based on the Qudam Project, the in-house strategic plan developed to manage improvements and measure progress in key areas of the Port s business. Safety at Sea International Award APM Terminals was named the winner of the Safety at Sea International (SASI) Award for 2010 for the category of Management and Operations. Presented in London on June 22nd, the award, which is presented annually, recognized the APM Terminals company-wide Safety Culture program as an initiative that demonstrates improved safe working practices or attitudes as a result of its implementation, either onshore or aboard-ship.
