IOS International IOS International is a Belgian application software provider: focusing on the digitization, control, structuring and updating of very specific content, i.e. all data related to a physical asset providing a in-house developed flexible data platform with extensive query and reporting functionalities with, in the event, delivering scenario based information to the mission critical activities of an organization or in other words, making data actionable. The vision of IOS International is to provide the State-of-the-Art Visualisation and Reporting Solution for Asset Information Management in Trusted Partnerships Worldwide. IOS International offers a step-by-step implementation, supported by IOS Mapper, IOS Publisher and IOS Services What does IOS International offer? On a strategic level most attention is given to financial risks. Physical risk management (fixed assets) does not have an equal position in the management agenda. The tactical consequences are: There are not enough agreements and arrangements between the different departments of a company or institution towards a common approach of risk management. Internal and external Emergency Response Teams experience a loss of time in emergency situations. Crisis communication starts slowly and is not to-the-point. On an operational level this translates into plans for intervention and evacuation that are neither up-to-date nor ready to use. Emergency plans are complicated, not harmonized and not sufficiently readable. As an answer to these problems, IOS International offers a step-by-step implementation, supported by: IOS Mapper, a software application to make an inventory and to inspect risk elements in various domains such as fire safety, physical security, environmental permit, etc with a powerful reporting function. IOS Publisher, a web platform to centralise and publish risk information in a harmonised emergency plan. IOS Services, such as education, assistance, data collection, data import, generation of reports and ICT services (installation, integration with existing systems, analysis and development for tailor-made solutions). www.iosint.be P a g e 3 12

How to: The IOS I 5 plan 1. INVENTORY ON THE SPOT The IOS platform collects and visualises data in an easy and structured manner. Objects can be inserted into drawings and pictures. Data can be added by means of click and drag. This documentation maps out the entire company and its environment. 2. INSPECTION ON THE SPOT All objects, positions and data entered can be inspected and edited for each risk domain. The verification will highlight any errors that need to be corrected. 3. INTELLIGENCE ON THE SPOT A summary table displays all the risks: the environment, fire, burglary, Legionnaires disease, machinery, etc. in the horizontal layer. They are compiled in lists and installation schedules in order to generate a bird's eye view of risk management. This way, the company director or health and safety officer is given an overview of how the company and its parts fit together and where the risks are located. 4. INSTRUCTION ON THE SPOT With the help of this module, you can build a recovery and continuity plan. You will find clear answers to salient questions such as which pipes or wiring must be shut down, which gas tanks risk exploding, is it necessary to evacuate the buildings, and if so, where to? You will reduce the risks and time required to get the company going on again. 5. INTERVENTION ON THE SPOT This tool generates important information for the intervention teams. They promptly receive a doublesided A3 sheet containing all the information they require to respond accurately, quickly and as safely as possible. Floor plan, people present in the company, layout of the wiring and piping, site plan, architectural plans and more. www.iosint.be P a g e 4 12

IOS Mapper The IOS Mapper application: Is a software platform developed in Java Allows encoding your fixed assets in a visual and user-friendly way Offers the possibility to create and manage documents on these fixed assets, their properties and their mutual relations Exchanges information with other systems used in the organization in a easy way Is build up in different (intelligence) domains such as (fire) safety, physical security, environment; health etc. Principles: Data management: encoding and visualizing data from different systems such as CAD (plans, drawings and diagrams), ERP systems (e.g. SAP), maintenance and inspection management systems (checklist) etc, in IOS Mapper. Document creation: creating complex reports where plans, object lists, photos, instructions, etc. are combined. Meta data take care of version management (revision number, date of creation, verification and authorization) of each document, in harmony with document management systems. The result is a platform that delivers current documents to people who are involved in daily exploitation, prevention, risk analysis, emergency planning, etc. www.iosint.be P a g e 5 12

What is the added value of IOS Mapper? For users: More coherence in the used documents, thanks to the collection of all relevant information in 1 database, from which multiple documents can be drawn up for various domains, Structured data, Visualisation / geolocalisation of data. For administrators: Synchronisation with existing databases and applications, Rigorous adaptation rules, Clear management of data and documents. The right effort and use of IOS Mapper software assures a better protection of people and fixed asset and improved business continuity. The trust of all actors (employers, customers, suppliers, legislators, community) in your organization will increase, what could result in better insurance conditions. IOS Publisher IOS Publisher is a web publishing function to centralize risk information and to manage the emergency plan online: Document publication (created or not by IOS Mapper) Emergency preparedness management Creation of an Internal Emergency Plan (IEP) for institutions and/or companies synchronised with the Specific Emergency and Intervention Plan (SEIP) on district and province level, with the following possibilities: To structure, edit and publish existing emergency plans (in accordance with the Royal Decree of 16/02/06 on emergency planning) To elaborate the emergency plan according to SEPP (CEMAC Methodology) Structure of the emergency plan (Royal Decree of 16/02/06) The emergency plan contains the following plans: The multidisciplinary emergency and intervention plan The monodisciplinary intervention plan The internal emergency plan The emergency and intervention plan hereafter referred to as the EIP, which regulates the multidisciplinary intervention, is drawn up at the federal, provincial and municipal level. The EIP consists of: A general emergency and intervention plan, hereafter referred to as the GEIP, which contains general instructions as well as any information required to ensure that the emergency situation is brought under control. A specific emergency and intervention plan, hereafter referred to as the SEIP, which supplements the GEIP with specific instructions related to specific risks. The monodisciplinary intervention plan regulates the intervention to be provided by a single discipline, pursuant to the existing ERP. The internal emergency plan is a document at company and/or institutional level, aimed at limiting the damaging consequences of an emergency situation by developing suitable material and organizational emergency measures, drawn up by the company or the institution concerned. www.iosint.be P a g e 9 12

SEPP Methodology For the creation of a standardised emergency plan IOS International co-operates with CEMAC. Contrary to the traditional repertory plans', this Standardised Emergency Preparedness Plan or SEPP standard plan is developed in a functionally logical manner. The plan is structured based on the development of an incident and the user can follow the plan in the normal sequence of pages and chapters. How to Step 1: Gather the existing information in a central place o The information is now available to all managers of the emergency plan o Several people can now work on one central emergency plan o The people who need to be given access to the online plan at a certain time are well identified Step 2: Standardize the emergency plan o The plan is given a standard structure by means of the SEPP methodology o The operator chooses how to fill in the structure based on the companies priorities Step 3: Publish online o The work documents are published online o Users can search and navigate throughout the entire emergency plan Step 4: Manage remarks and amendments o Remarks and amendments are managed centrally o Amendments can be made without influencing the operational emergency plan www.iosint.be P a g e 10 12
