Objectives The Directorate for Lifelong Learning within the offers courses aimed at giving basic and widespread skills in ICT Developing computer or information technology skills can help the adult learner access a range of resources and services, such as online banking or shopping To progress to further learning, getting to grips with computers and the internet can help the adult learner save time and give access to free online resources

ICT Course in Family Learning This short course is designed for carers who want to help their children use ICT for their learning. Through this course the learner will be able to: engage and communicate effectively with their child and the school access on-line information and use a variety of technologies to engage with their child s learning particularly in their Primary years access, read and interpret a wide range of information provided by schools and available on line access information and services that can support them in their parenting role read, interpret and understand key information provided on line and on paper about children s early learning, development and progress
