Educational Initiative supported more or less by local authorities Aim : get to know the port and maritime/industrial activities Educational itinerary based a lot on personal experiences (interactive) Permanent expositions and on side visits of the port Collaboration with universities and other research institutions Key element In general Port Centres need a strong local anchoring. The objective is to develop a community outreach program that enhances the port legitimacy on the territory and makes social support growing bigger!

3- Promote a Port Centres Network AIVP is working on the development of a Port Centres Network (PCN) Federate and develop collaboration between the existing initiatives Giving a better visibility and promote port centres all over the world Introducing a more clear port city dimension in order to enhance their collaboration Offering a benchmark platform for new initiatives looking for successful experiences Make collaborate in a more proactive way citizen, port community and the academic world Get more interested the economic actors to participate and support
