2 Bergé Port Operations. Bergé Operaciones Portuarias is a business unit belonging to Bergé Infraestructuras y Servicios Logísticos (BISL), a division of Bergé y Cía. BISL encompasses other business units such as Vehicle Logistics, General Logistics and Shipping. Bergé y Cía, founded in Bilbao in 1870 as a ship agent and stevedoring company, later extended its activities to cover the whole country, opening offices in all of the major Spanish ports between 1940 and In the 1980s it began to diversify its business with the importation of industrial equipment and the formation of car distribution companies. From then on it has been expanding its business into other areas such as finance, energy, logistics and new technologies, which provide an important challenge for the future.

7 1. Stevedoring Bergé Operaciones Portuarias provides stevedoring services with the best technical facilities and human resources. It has handling capabilities adapted to each form of transport, thereby guaranteeing high levels of operational efficiency and optimal levels of quality. It also has a fleet of over 60 port cranes, 30 of which are mobile cranes capable of operating at great heights. The extensive network of port facilities belonging to Bergé Operaciones Portuarias, the quality of operations and the adaptation to the needs of the customer are the key to the company s position of market leader in Spain.

8 Steel Products Activities involving the stevedoring of steel require today more than ever knowledge, experience, and specialised facilities and equipment for the manipulation of the various products: sheets, billets, coils, etc. We have automated warehouses with accessibility to every coil, which are supplied on request, Just in Time, with traceability until delivery at destination. Integration with customer IT systems (EDI) allows the continuous communication of information about the status of the product. 9 Agrifood Products Bergé Operaciones Portuarias, a leading operator with over three million tonnes handled per year, is a stevedoring company of reference for the handling of agri-food products. The logistical capacity provided by more than 300,000 sqm of covered area, specifically for the storage of agri-food products, enables us to respond with the highest level of service to any customer demand. Bergé Operaciones Portuarias applies the strictest procedures which guarantee optimal handling of these products. Our unique storage programme, within a SAP environment, ensures the necessary and compulsory traceability of any goods passing through our facilities. The HACCP systems of control and quality, compliance with which is mandatory under the current legislation, together with our ISO 9001:2008 certificate of quality and ISO environmental certificate, as well as our GTP certificate, guarantee excellence in both handling and control of agrifood products.

10 Bulk Cargo The establishment of Bergé Operaciones Portuarias throughout the entire country and its connections with industry has allowed us to gain unique experience as an industrial bulk handler: coal, biomass, clinker, DRI, scrap, metal ores, fertilisers and blendes, etc. Due to this variety, Bergé Operaciones Portuarias has developed different ways of handling and storage adapted to each type of product, as well as loading and lifting systems that ensure optimal performance for each product type.

11 Project Cargo Operations involving project cargo require logistics that are perfectly adapted to the cargo s specific characteristics. 12 Paper Bergé Operaciones Portuarias performs stevedoring and storage port operations for the paper industry, from the handling of ships loaded with logs and chips arriving from forest areas, to the loading and unloading of pulp and reels of paper, as well as storage, and final delivery to the end customer. Our port facilities along the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts have the necessary infrastructure to give a high quality and reliable service which, combined with our knowhow in the paper and forestry sectors, provides the added value that the logistics for goods of this type require. We also currently carry out internal logistics activities, port handling operations involving pulp and rolls of paper, acting as regulatory warehouses for our customers, with the subsequent land transportation of the goods for the hinterland.

Ship Agent Services Bergé Operaciones Portuarias can provide the organisation and coordination of all the services that a ship requires, prior to, during and after the call at a port: Management of commercial and administrative documents concerning the goods. Auxiliary supply and support services for the ship and its crew. Software developed specifically for agency services, which allows the monitoring and streamlining of administrative procedures, in accordance with our quality management system.

15 3. Warehouses Bergé has more than 300,000 sqm of warehouses and more than 900,000 sqm of uncovered storage space. These storage areas, together with their heavy equipment and vehicles, allow the handling and storing of different types of goods with the most efficient and highest quality service. The network of warehouses dedicated to agri-food products has a storage capacity of more than 2 million tonnes, complying with regulations on traceability and also the specific regulations for the handling of these products. The software developed by Bergé for the management of warehouses and storage compounds allows continuous monitoring of the stock of each type of product.
