Consultancies Minority Rights Group International: The World Database on Minorities and Indigenous Peoples, 2006-2007. This involved writing, editing and reviewing reports on the current legal and political status of minorities in various European states. European Union: PHARE Sponsored Project on Social Exclusion and the Roma, led by Schulumberger Sema Belgium Consortium, 2002-2004. This involved writing a number of reports on human and minority rights issues concerning the Roma in EU accession states in Central and Eastern Europe. Foundacion Caja Madrid: Master class in Globalization, 2004. This involved giving lectures and leading seminars on the cultural and political implications of globalization to a select group of Spanish civil servants, journalists, and business executives chosen by the Spanish Government.
3 Government of Hungary: Minority Rights and the EU Accession Process, 2003. This involved visiting the Hungarian Foreign Ministry in Budapest, participating in conversations with various officials, and presenting a discussion paper on current European minority rights standards and enforcement mechanisms. Beth Shalom (The Holocaust Centre, UK): Teaching Human and Minority Rights as part of the UK National Curricula, 2002. This involved participating in conversations with classroom teachers, reviewing curricula materials, and presenting a discussion paper on key issues in human and minority rights. VIII.
