REBER Mozart Chocolate Café 1
Reber Enterprise and History In 1865 Peter Reber opened his first Confectionery-Cafe in Munich. In the beginning of his carrier, the focus was at that time - on new, colonial-exotic pleasures such as noble chocolates and other chocolate compositions. In the course of time, Peter Reber and his co-workers created many noble chocolates and delicious chocolate delights. The creation being most connected to his master-confectionery is the Mozart-Kugel an expression of high-class confectionery art and at the same time showing appreciation towards the famous musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Was it a premonition regarding the Mozart-Kugel, or the conclusion that the well-known Health Resort Bad Reichenhall, located close to Salzburg would suit the REBER SPECIALTIES very well? Nobody knows for sure. Fact is, the enterprise moved to Bad Reichenhall in 1938, where it has been family owned until today with the fifth generation The Mozart Kugel, now called Genuine Reber Mozart-Kugel is produced according to a traditional, unchanged recipe.
