3 Our Story Imperial Coffee and Services Inc. is the largest independently owned office coffee and vending company in Canada. We are a family-run business that was incorporated in June 1974 and we now provide coffee, vending and water systems to more than 12,000 customers. We serve millions of cups of coffee every week! Since we re independent, we are free to choose from the best available products and equipment without being solely tied to any one supplier. This gives us, and our customers, ultimate flexibility. Our head office is in Toronto and we currently operate six additional facilities within Ontario including Markham, Ottawa, Lindsay, Barrie, Waterloo and London. Our strong ties with affiliates throughout North America mean that we can service your account from coast to coast. Greater Flexibility We make it easy for you to switch to us. Seamless transitions are our specialty. As a privately owned company, we offer a tremendous amount of flexibility in terms of products and equipment. Requests for new or unique items are efficiently and easily handled and often we will special order and stock items for our customers even if they are not part of our day to day inventory. Coffee Selection We carry over 300 different types of coffees and are able to satisfy even the most discriminating palate. Whether your tastes lie in Regular, Decaffeinated, Fair Trade, Organic, Rainforest Alliance Certified, Flavoured, Espresso or Specialty Coffees we re sure to have the coffee for you. We are a leading supplier of Mars Drinks, Second Cup, Starbucks, Seattle s Best, Timothy s World Coffees, Wolfgang Puck, and Country Style. We are the exclusive supplier of Second Cup Coffees within Ontario s workplaces and our own Gourmet Coffees are freshly and locally roasted daily to our exacting standards. 6

7 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION and SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY As a family run business that grew, Imperial Coffee has always been committed to making our communities better places. That s one of the reasons so many of our employees have been with us for so many years. That s why we support so many charities and that s why we re proud to be the leader in environmental initiatives. We understand and appreciate the delicate balance we have with our environment and have taken drastic steps to minimize our negative affect on our surroundings. We were the first coffee company in Ontario to offer 100% biodegradable packaging on all of our Private Labelled Custom Roasted Gourmet Coffees. In addition, we offer our Imperial Fair Trade Coffee at no upcharge to our regular coffees. We have won awards from the Toronto Law Office Management Association (TLOMA) for being Toronto s Greenest Supplier. The brewers that we provide are all the very best for energy efficiency, minimization of waste and can all brew Fair Trade or Rainforest Alliance Certified Coffees. In addition, many of our ancillary products are environmentally friendly (many at no extra cost!!). We have our environmental impact in mind with everything we do. Our warehouse is energy efficient. Our delivery and service vehicles are GPS equipped and are specially routed and monitored to minimize our footprint. Our Terracycle program for the Flavia and Mars Drinks system allows us to recycle used FilterPacks and have them converted into new products such as paving stones, benches, children s play equipment or garbage cans. We ve joined a worldwide movement to outsmart waste. The many charities that Imperial Coffee supports financially are Sick Kids Hospital, Baycrest Centre, Toronto Hospital Fund, Coast to Coast Against Cancer, Casey House, United Way, Crohn s and Colitis Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, One Family Fund, Weizmann Institute and the United Jewish Appeal. 7

8 State of the Art Coffee Brewers Whether your needs are for a single cup brewer from Flavia, Keurig, or our e-pod Zero Waste Brewer; a fresh cup whole bean to cup brewer from Starbucks, Seattle s Best, DeJong, Avalon or Genesis; or if you prefer to brew pots of coffee, we have the latest brewing equipment available. Our Thermal Brewing Systems are available with gravity fed air pots, pump pots or thermal carafes designed to keep your coffee hot for hours. Our IQ brewer features a last time brewed display so you can take the guesswork out of when the coffee was last made. Our VBS (Versatile Brewing System) allows you to brew 3 taste profiles (mild, classic, dark) all within a compact designed brewer. We have tea from virtually all of the leading companies including Tazo, Bigelow, Numi, Tetley and Red Rose; several selections of hot chocolate; pop, juice, bottled water and all kinds of specialty beverage supplies. Other Products We carry over 1000 products for your break room at extremely competitive pricing. Pretty well anything that you might require from paper products, soaps, cleaning supplies, cutlery, dishes, cups, glasses, condiments and snacks to microwave ovens and even fridges. We have a complete line of Eco Products designed to reduce your waste. Water Coolers Imperial is the leader in filtered Water Systems.
