Exam applications may be subject to audit by the PMI. Your application will be reviewed over a period of 5 days â Pay the PMP Exam fee & Schedule to Sit your Exam Once approved by the PMI you must pay the exam fee directly to the PMI. You have one year to sit and pass the exam from the date your application has been approved. PMP exam fees are currently $405 for PMI members and $555 for non-members. PMI membership is optional and costs $139 for the 1st year of membership
