1 DOWNLOADING THE APP To get SaxoTrader iphone App, please launch the App Store on your iphone and search for Saxo Capital Markets. After launching the app from the App Store, the fi rst screen will display the Saxo Capital Markets legal disclaimer. Please note that you will not be able to access the application unless you accept the disclaimer. 2 MANAGING YOUR ACCOUNT 3.1 Account Tap on Account after launching the app. This section of the app offers direct access to your Saxo trading account. Select Live or Simulation to log in to your account. Login with your Saxo ID and Password. 3.2 Account Summary The Account Summary gives you a quick overview of your account. It shows your cash balance, account value, margin available and margin utilisation. You may tap on the Account Value or Margin Available to get details of the account value and the margin available.
3 USING THE MAIN MENU The Main Menu icon is always available on the top right hand corner of the application. Tapping on the Main Menu icon gives you quick access to all main areas of the application. 4 SELECTING YOUR INSTRUMENT Tap on Find Instruments from the Main Menu. You can search or browse for all instruments from this menu. Simply tap on your selected instrument to add it to your Prices and Trade list. Alternatively, you can search for your instrument from the Search For Instruments ; the context menu will show you with the instruments fi ltered from your search.
5 EXECUTING TRADE From the Prices and Trade menu, you can place your trade by selecting your instrument. Select Trade if you wish to trade the instrument at the current market price (spot) or as a forward. Select Place Order if you wish to trade the instrument using a Market, Limit or Stop order. Select Add Related Orders if you wish to set related limit and stop orders along with your trades and orders. 6 CONFIRMING YOUR TRADE Select Place Order(s) when you have placed a trade or order from the Trade Ticket to confi rm. Tap on Close to confi rm your trade confi rmation. You can view your trade confi rmations under Trade Confirmations in the main menu.
7 SELECTING YOUR INSTRUMENT Select Open Positions from the Main Menu for an overview of your open positions in your account. Tapping will expand to display the individual positions beneath. Selecting an individual position will display a contract menu with options for the specifi c instrument such as Close Position, View Details or Add Related Orders. 8 MANAGING OPEN ORDERS Select Open Orders from the Main Menu for an overview of your open orders and to cancel an order. Orders related to an open position are displayed with a icon. Open orders with related orders are displayed with a icon. Selecting an order will display a context menu with more options for specifi c orders such as Cancel Order or View Details.
9 USING CHARTS Select Chart from the Main Menu or context menu from Prices and Trade to open a chart for a specifi c instrument. The current chart allows you to set and customise your preferred period and chart type. The chart will fi ll up the entire screen when you hold your iphone horizontally. 10 LOGGING OUT Tap on Log Out from the Main Menu if you wish to log out of your account. You can still access the Saxo iphone features outside of your account login.
