13 ADMINISTRATION AND REPORTING End of Day (EOD) Reporting - End of Day files are a summary of all clients activities, which have been performed during a trade day. Most of the files can be generated weekly, monthly, quarterly or on request. - EOD files can be delivered via an e-mal and/ or via an FTP drop box, as pull or push. - The accounting/ compliance EOD files are an aid to Back Office Functions that are responsible for the bookkeeping of the underlying client accounts. - Any activity which changes the balance on the client s account is recorded in a set of files. These include any realized profit, loss, commissions, interest and cash transactions in or out of the accounts. - Three files make up the basic information for all trades conducted on the client s accounts: Open positions, closed positions and trades executed. - The information provided in each file is matched with the information needed for each specific product. Order activity carried out during the day, such as creation, fills and cancellations (not limited to these) and the net balances on all accounts are also available as files. 13
