DAITEM COMMUNICATORS ( 2 ) With its range of communicators, Daitem can be relied on for a broad scope of applications A range to cover all applications The new range of Daitem telephone communicators provides reliable and efficient solutions, whatever the type of site on which they are installed. With different product references available, you can choose between a hardwired or radio link depending on your site layout. Whether you opt for a mains-connected solution or an entirely battery-run communicator, the whole range is simple to install thanks to user-friendly and intuitive programming. What s more, you cannot fail to be seduced by the brand new design and compact size of the products, as well as all the accessories available. Find out about the different applications possible with this new range of telephone communicators comprising on-board technology. s boasting genuine independence Daitem telephone communicators use a modem to which trigger inputs are connected by wire or radio in order to transmit alarms or messages from a device (control panel, sensor, etc.) to a remote centre or telephone. They pass on messages about intrusion alarms, technical alarms, etc. to remote users. The communicator can call up several telephone numbers (a remote central station monitoring company or individual correspondents), on a fixed or mobile line. The messages transmitted are either digital (for remote central station monitoring companies), vocal or SMS. It is also possible to call-up the communicator using a fixed or mobile phone in order to remotely control the alarm system or contacts (e.g. for activating an automatic control system). The communicator can be used alone or as backup to a PSTN telephone dialler using a line cut detector (optional). Protection of isolated sites Daitem communicators are not only independent of the PSTN network, but some battery-powered models are also independent of the mains power supply and have a battery life of up to 5 years. Because of this, they are especially suitable for protecting sites that are isolated or under development: houses, construction sites, companies, etc. ( 3 ) Technical monitoring Because the communicators are fully independent, they can also be used for many applications that are entirely unrelated to security. They can be linked to temperature probes, sensors or other technical monitoring devices and thus act as technical call beacons when monitoring of sensitive installations (greenhouses, incubators, etc.) is required. Furthermore, they can come in a sealed casing (optional) to protect them in difficult environments. Different types of messages Voice type messages These messages are used to call up correspondents or keyholders on their fixed or mobile phone. The messages transmitted are either standard or pre-recorded by the user and saved in the communicator memory. The units have several inputs and each can be used for a different personalised message (e.g. Breakdown, freezer, Intrusion, kitchen, Flood, cellar, etc.). SMS type messages These text format messages are used to transmit alarms to mobile phones. Digital type messages These messages are transmitted by the communicator to a remote central station monitoring company. The communicators use Ademco, Contact ID and Daitem protocols. Remote dialogue With their built-in microphone and loudspeaker, Daitem communicators allow users to listen in to the protected premises should an alarm be triggered. To erase any doubt about the alarm, an alarm confirmation call makes dialogue between the person having triggered the alarm and the user possible.
