ISM-CV 214-215 Nomination Slate President: John Robinson, C.P.M., CPPO, CPPB Director, Materials Management North Carolina State Ports Authority John (Cape Fear Chapter) has served as the ISM-CV President for the past year and previously as the Vice President for 2 years. He is also a past president of the Cape Fear Chapter and continues to serve on the Cape Fear Chapter Board of Director s. John has been the recipient of the following two prestigious ISM-CV Awards; 212-213 Anthony Napoli Ethics and 21-211 Andy Sutton. John Robinson, C.P.M., CPPO, CPPB is the Director of Materials Management for the North Carolina State Ports Authority in Wilmington, North Carolina. Within this role, John oversees the procurement and contracting of goods and services and the supply operations for the North Carolina Ports in Wilmington and Morehead City, NC along with intermodal terminals in Charlotte and Greensboro. Prior to joining the NC Ports John spent twelve years as Supply Manager in the manufacturing sector and a short tenure with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools as a Senior Procurement Agent. John is a graduate of Gardner Webb University receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and South University receiving his Master of Science in Leadership. John has spoken at ISM and other events and provided training for C.P.M. certification and CPPB certification. John was honored to be the closing keynote speaker at the 212 ISM Affiliate Conference in Baltimore. Demarest, CPSM, CPSM, C.P.M, CPIM, CIRM Senior Director-Chief of Procurement RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company Craig (Triad Chapter) has served on the ISM-CV Board of Directors for the past year and was integral in the creation of the ISM-CV Emerging Professional Group. Craig is a supply chain professional with over 3 years of experience in the Tobacco, Plastics, Food and Pharmaceutical Industries. He is responsible for $2.3 billion in spend across the RAI operating companies, includes direct, indirect and capital procurement, and directs teams in Memphis TN, Oxford NC, Santa Fe NM, as well as centralized indirect and direct groups in Winston-Salem NC. He is a member of RJRT Operations Leadership Team, and Operations Strategy Development Team and holds CPSM, C.P.M., CPSD, CPIM and CIRM professional certifications. Craig was part of BAT Procurement Executive Committee (PEC), representing Brown & Williamson Tobacco. PEC was responsible for setting strategic direction for BAT Procurement. He also worked with BAT Global Procurement to develop and implement sourcing strategies around several direct material commodities. Jon is currently a Strategic Buyer for Volvo Group in the Facility Management and Services Commodity. Secretary: Kris Wetterling, CPSM, C.P.M. ISM-CV 211-212 Thomas Award Recipient ISM-CV 28-29 Andy Sutton Award Recipient Kris (Triangle Chapter) has served as the ISM-CV Secretary for the past 2 years, prior to that as a Board Member and Central Office Chair. Currently she is the Triangle chapter Treasurer and Website chairperson. Prior to this she was the chapter Past President, President, Attendance, and Website chairperson. Kris has been a supply chain professional for the past 26 years. For the past 13 years, she s been employed by Cary Academy as their Information Services Purchasing Manager. At Cary Academy, she speaks to upper school students about how sustainability plays a part in the Supply Chain Management Profession. Kris serves as CA Green Chairperson (Cary Academy s Sustainability Committee).

Board Directors: Wade C. Ferguson, DBA, CPSM, C.P.M., CPSD Wade (Low Country Chapter) is currently serving his third year on the ISM-CV Board of Directors and prior to that served terms as the President and Board of Director on both his local affiliate chapter as well as at the regional affiliate level (ISM-CV). He also served for many years with the NAPM (ISM) District Council and was a member of the NAPM (ISM) national Board of Directors. He is the recipient of the 212 Anthony Napoli Ethics; ISM-CV 1995 ISM-CV Thomas Award, that association s highest award for contribution to the profession; the 1999 Charles C. Johnson award, given by the NAPM (ISM) District V Council; and was twice awarded the National Professional Development Person of the Year by NAPM (ISM). Wade is an Associate with Lewis and Associates, offering training and consulting services to companies seeking to improve value from their supply chains. He has held various purchasing and contracting positions with the South Carolina Public Service Authority over the past 3 years. Wade has a Master s Degree in Business Administration from The Citadel and a Doctor of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Board Directors: Jim Epley, CPSM, C.P.M. Jim (Queen City Chapter) has over 3 years of experience in the retail industry. Currently serving as Director Operations Support, Sourcing & Procurement Solutions at Lowe s Companies, Inc., Jim is responsible for all aspects of Category Management for Lowe s various operations including category strategy, strategic sourcing and implementation. Prior to being named in his current position Jim had served in various roles in Lowe s Procurement organization for more than 18 years. His most recent assignment was Director Procurement, Operations, Real Estate, Marketing and Distribution, where his team was responsible for conducting sourcing activities, program and vendor management. Jim is a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) as well as a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) and holds a B.S. Degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Jim, his wife Krista and their three children reside in the rural community of Hays, NC.

Board Directors: Andrea Harris, C.P.M., CPSM Andrea (Lynchburg Chapter) is a Senior Buyer for The Babcock & Wilcox Company in Lynchburg, VA and is a current member and in good standing with the Carolinas-Virginia chapter. She holds a MBA from Lynchburg College, BS in Business Administration from East Carolina University. Andrea is a Graduate of Leadership Lynchburg Class 37; served as a Leadership Lynchburg Alumni Consultant for two years. She also obtained a Certification of Supply Chain Management from the Center for Executive Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has been in the procurement world for a number of years and it is an area that she really enjoys. She has been looking for a way to get involved, to make contributions to the field, and learn from others on best practices. Andrea feel a Board position seems would be an ideal and exciting way to do all of those things. She is dedicated, hard-working, and always eager to learn, and is excited about the opportunity to serve on the Board. She is a current member of the Board of Directors for Little Town Players in Bedford, VA (term ends May, 214) and is taking Spanish lessons in hopes of becoming fluent. Board Directors: Chandra Kunjithapatham Chandra (Triad Chapter) has advanced through the Emerging Professionals group and earned his Master s in Industrial Engineering (Supply Chain Management specialization) from North Carolina State University (NCSU) and his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Chandra was awarded a research scholarship at NCSU and worked as a Research Associate for Dr. Robert Handfield at the NC State University s SCRC - Supply Chain Resource Cooperative. He also worked on projects with diverse member companies including IBM, Nortel Networks, Chevron and Bank of America. These projects spanned areas including supply market intelligence, supply chain planning, supply chain risk management, cost modeling and procurement strategy. Chandra s work experience includes RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company (Fortune 5 Company) as Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing. He started at Reynolds as an intern and worked on progressive roles (Buyer, Senior Buyer and Senior Manager). He was the in-house supply market intelligence (MI) lead and trained the entire Procurement team on MI tools and processes. He also lead corporate sustainability team that focused on energy reduction, resource usage, recycling and emissions reduction and conducted Procurement roadshows to improve stakeholder participation. Community Service and Other Activities: Active volunteer at United Way.

Board Directors: Marlon Merritt Marlon (Triangle Chapter) is the Director, Sourcing and Materials Management for Duke Energy located and based out of Raleigh, NC. He was a member of the FL ISM chapter and now is a member in good standing with ISM-CV affiliate and local chapter. He welcomes the opportunity to support the chapter (Triangle) in a board member seat or officer role. Currently, Marlon serves as the Treasurer for an internal employee resource group; Co-Chair for a Mentoring Committee for an internal resource group; and President & Chairman of the Board for UPMG Utility Purchasing Management Group. Sean Williams Sean (Queen City Chapter) is the Managing Partner and Senior Business Advisor of SMS-Advisors, is a trained Fortune 5 Business Project Manager, Experienced International Business-to-Business Negotiator, Supply Chain Industry Moderator/Instructor and Entrepreneur. Formally educated at Michigan State University in Business & Supply Chain Management in 2, Sean also earned his Certified Purchasing Manager designation through the Institute of Supply Management in 25 and was formally SCOR-P trained for corporate project management and oversight through the Supply Chain Counsel in 29. Gaining vast experience leading cross-functional business teams for Fortune 5 firms since 2, he has executed over 5 multimillion dollar business-to-business negotiations in North America and Europe. In addition, Sean has performed over 75 supplier pre & post award readiness assessments. His experience includes internal preparation, negotiation, and implementation leadership of one of the largest Pharmaceutical Facilities Outsourcing deals in 21 worth $864MM which spanned across 8 countries and 25 manufacturing and commercial sites. Overall, Sean has held various Manager and Director level positions in Corporate America for companies including; Intel, MeadWestvaco, and Bristol Myers Squibb. Sean founded SMS-Advisors (based in Charlotte) and leads the advisory service team which deploys key fortune 5 business techniques to effectively start-up/manage business operations and finances for small businesses, as well as, provide Supply Chain Training, Supplier Performance Oversight, and Sourcing Project Management to Fortune 1s. Sean s and SMS-Advisors business philosophies and consulting approaches center around continuous growth planning, integrated financial awareness, and relationship maximization.
