TAILORED SHIPMENTS If the move is within Europe then in all probability it will be executed by road, via our own European network. For shipments to other continents a combination of sea and air freight is normally the solution. Air freight is recommended for priority items like clothing, bedding and children s toys. We will advise on suitability according to your needs but the choice is yours.

We look after your treasured belongings as if they were our own PERFECT PACKING When it comes to protecting your belongings, the packing process is of paramount importance. Tailored packaging materials of the highest quality are used. Once again it is our people that make the difference. Many of our dedicated teams of professional export packers have more than 50 years experience between them. We take enormous pride in ensuring each and every consignment reaches its destination in perfect condition. All items are numbered and inventoried, which greatly facilitates the unpacking process. SECURE STORAGE You may have goods to be placed in storage. These items can be safely and securely accommodated in our high quality facilities equipped with CCTV. Such goods can be taken from storage and sent on at a later date should a short-term posting be extended. SAFE DELIVERY Each shipment will be met at its destination by our local service partners with whom we have close working relationships. They all share our values of efficiency, reliability and care. Together we ensure that your goods are delivered safely to your destination. Our service partner will then move you into your new home, unpacking everything and re-assembling any items that were dismantled for shipment, before removing unwanted packing materials. Service partners can also provide additional support services and give general advice.

T R U S T PET CARE For families with pets, SHW can advise on the options available and on quarantine and other regulations, like pet passports, in your country of destination. DESTINATION INFORMATION SHW provides fact files with general and specific information on your destination country. These include a host of relevant facts and figures about language, currency and time zones, together with information about local customs and behaviour, so that you will be well-informed when you arrive in your new country. RELOCATION SERVICES The SHW focus is on international moves; however our relocation partners can assist with a broad range of needs including finding accommodation and the best schools for children. We retain our independence by using several corporate relocation companies, leaving us better placed to match you with the most appropriate relocation partner for your particular needs.

C A R E SUPPORT SERVICES You may require ancillary services, for example cleaning your current home, changing the plugs on your electrical appliances or other tasks that require a handyman, carpenter or concierge service. SHW will be pleased to attend to any such requirements for you. INSURANCE We can arrange fully comprehensive insurance cover for all your belongings at competitive rates, giving you total peace of mind. The insurance coverage relates to the door to door shipment of your goods and can include any period whilst goods are held in storage. CUSTOMS AND REGULATIONS The bureaucratic paperwork requirements associated with moving from one country to another can be daunting, not least the forms required for Customs. We can take care of all this for you and also obtain advice regarding work permits.
