That said, we firmly believe that you are never too old to learn and we are constantly soliciting feedback from our customers to improve our service. Training Each of our moving teams are fully trained on every aspect of moving before they are sent out on their first job. Cost We offer an hourly rate so you don t pay for any unnecessary time or fixed rate if you prefer. Flexibility We will work out of hours and at weekends at no extra charge to suit your timeframe. Customer Satisfaction With 94% of our customers willing to refer us to a friend we know that the effort we put into our training and service is paying dividends. Insurance All our employees are fully insured while working on your property, in the unlikely event we cause damage to your personal belongings while in our care, control and custody, this is covered in our basic policy, but where additional cover is required we can arrange a comprehensive policy. **please note that we cannot provide cover for items not packed by our trained staff. p5

The National Guild of Removers & Storers was formed in 1991 to bring into membership removals businesses that are keen on promoting consumer protection. The Ombudsman Accredited Inspection Programme & The Ombudsman Scheme Quality Monitoring Programme By participating in these programmes we are bound to strict codes of business practice and are subject to checks and inspections by the OAIP. The Irish Guild of Removers & Storers is the Irish arm of the organisation and serves to protect the rights of Irish consumers engaging in business with its members. The Removals Industry Ombudsman Scheme has been established to provide the removals industry with an independent service to resolve disputes between member companies and their clients, both domestic consumers and commercial organisations, if the conciliation service provided by the National Guild of Removers & Storers has not produced a satisfactory conclusion. p6

Moving can be a very busy and stressful period so let our team of experts help alleviate the strain. We can even pack and unpack everything for you or if you prefer to self-pack, we can provide all of the packing materials you will need. Small Move Moving apartment or decluttering the home? We also offer a TMT Light moving service via our smaller fleet of vans. As we estimate at an hourly rate, this can be a very fast and cost effective way of moving goods from A to B. 8 02 Our services (continued) Packing Services Take the hassle out of packing by letting our team of trained professionals take care of all your packing and unpacking requirements. We have all of the necessary equipment and all of our movers are fully trained in the correct way to pack even the most delicate, awkward and bulky of items. Alternatively, if you prefer to self-pack, we can also provide a wide range of boxes and packing material. Packing Tips: Be careful not to over-pack moving boxes the heavier the item, the smaller the moving box. Start packing the items you don t need as soon as you know you re moving. Avoid mixing items from different rooms in the same moving boxes. Put detailed labels on tops and sides of all moving boxes. Always tape boxes shut for safety and security. Always pack and unpack breakables on top of a padded surface. Lampshades and fine china should not be packed in newspaper because the ink can permanently stain these items. Instead, use packing paper. Pack important and sentimental documents separately so that they are easily accessible: Such as children s health records, passports, family records, insurance information, etc. For larger appliances, check your owner s manuals to see if there are special instructions for moving. When you disassemble furniture and other items please make sure to tape all parts to the main base. Pack a moving box of things that you will need immediately at your new home and make sure it is loaded last on the truck so that the contents will be immediately available at your new home. * For more information and tips on packing, please visit our website Secure Storage We can also cater for any temporary storage needs you may have before, during or after the move via our storage partner, Need More Space. They have a wide range of individually locked and alarmed units from 9 sq ft to 1000 sq ft at very competitive rates. Units can be rented for as long as is needed and can be accessed as often as you like. Alternatively, if you are not moving and are simply decluttering your home or have items requiring storage, we can happily assist with the transportation of belongings to one of their depots via out TMT Light service. Anna, Malahide 03 A guide to your move personal move co-ordinator As part of our hands-on approach to customer service, every move is appointed a co-ordinator who will act as your main point of contact throughout the entire process. Your co-ordinator is on hand to offer advice and answer any questions or queries you may have in relation to your move. They will provide you with your move quote and will arrange for a move consultant to visit your home, if required. Your move consultant We are only too delighted to have one of our move consultants visit your home free of charge. The consultant will assess all of the items to be moved and evaluate firsthand the size of the job, how many men are needed and how long the job is likely to take. They will also ask you to identify fragile or high value items and give you the best recommendations regarding packing materials and procedures. p9

10 03 A guide to your move (continued) Your Quotation The quotation contains all of the specifics associated with your move inclusive of a detailed inventory of items to be moved and a full cost breakdown. The detailed inventory can be given over the phone, via or compiled by the move co-ordinator during their visit. In addition to the quantity of individual items, we also estimate on space which helps us to determine the number/size of truck required. Acceptance Form On this form you will find a complete breakdown of all costs associated with your move as well as the number of trucks, movers and total hours required to get the job done on schedule. Once you have signed it as an indication of your acceptance and returned it to us, we can get everything booked in for you. p10

11 Moving Services Agreement The moving services agreement is signed on the day of the move and outlines our pricing structure and payment options. It also serves to confirm goods to be moved and acts as a binding contract in relation to your move. Terms & Conditions We will also furnish you with a full list of our terms and conditions to be read in advance of all moves. p11

By choosing TWO MEN AND A TRUCK as your preferred moving company, you have gone a long way to alleviating the stress and ensuring that everything runs as smoothly as possible. We have compiled the following checklist to ensure nothing is overlooked and everything runs likes clockwork. Checklist: One month before the move: Contact TWO MEN AND A TRUCK and reserve your moving date. We will be happy to furnish you with all necessary boxes and packing supplies. Begin by cleaning out wardrobes, the garage, the attic and the basement. Arrange for the transfer of school records. Pick up change of address cards from your local post office. Notify magazines, banks, insurance companies, clubs and all other organisations of your new address. Be sure to get owner s manuals for appliances in your new home. If not, you can find most on the Internet. p12

13 One to two weeks prior to the move: Make up a survival box of items you will need to ensure a final clean-up. If you decide to pack yourself, label all of the boxes clearly. Write the destination room on the top and sides of each box to ensure it gets to the right location in your new home. Schedule disconnects for gas, electric, water and the telephone. Don t cancel your phone service until after your move. Arrange for refunds to be mailed to the new address that are due and schedule connections for your new home. Cancel newspapers, satellite or cable TV, security, cleaning help and any other services you might receive at your previous location. The week of the move: Post your change of address forms. Clean the oven. The day before the move: Clean the fridge, then defrost, dry and leave the fridge door open. Ensure you have enough cash to tide you over. Say a final farewell to your neighbours. Home Protection Our movers will ensure that all care is taken to protect your home (old and new) at all times during the move. Special care will be taken to protect floors, doors, carpets etc prior to moving any furniture. Packing If you have availed of our packing service, our team of expert packers will carefully get everything ready for transit. China and glassware is individually wrapped and placed is special protective cartons while items of clothing are placed in specific wardrobe cartons. Wrapping & Protection All furniture will be wrapped and protected using moving pads. Chairs and sofas are moved in protective covers, ensuring that they arrive at your new home in exactly the same condition. Unpacking at your new home If you have chosen our unpacking service, our team will carefully unpack everything for you at the other end. They will work to your direction so please have an idea of where things should go. p14
