WVMLS s Advertising WVMLS works hand-in-hand with Members to help advertise and publicize listings. Through strategies such as syndication to over 40 worldwide websites, hot flyers, videos and other tools, WVMLS helps it's Members to "get the word out." Open up any listing and choose a map view, such as "Bing Map." Aerial is one of the view choices at the top. In addition, let us knw if you want to use an Aerial View as one of your 21 listing pictures! E-fax is an easy way to upload documents to your listings. Simply create a cover page with your MLS number on it, add the document you want uploaded, and fax it to us at (877) 401-8637. It doesn't get much easier than that! Link up with us on facebook - just do a search for Willamette Valley MLS and click "Like." Fax us your listings, changes, supply orders, etc. Fax transmission speeds processing and saves you time and effort. In Paragon, go to your listing(s) in Paragon. Under Available Reports, go to Details, then to Hit Count Report. Here you will see both agent and client hits from Paragon. Login with your regular username and password (as in Paragon.) Click View All My Listings. This will show you all the hits on the wvmls.com property search site. WVMLS s Lockbox/Key Map Searching Market Conditions Report Marketing Member Search Message Board Millage Rates Mobile Access Neighborhood 360 Photos WVMLS is your headquarters for obtaining your key, identification code and keyboxes. It's THE system for providing safe, secure access to listed homes. Every time an agent enters the premises, the instance is recorded into the box, and updated reports are available 24 hours a day. See also: KimWeb Map searches in Paragon are one of the best ways to find properties! To start, select one of three shape options: radius, rubber band or polygon. Click and release on the map to start a point. Each subsequent click on the map will connect the points together. You can draw up to FOUR shapes on the map for any given search. The "Instant Search" button will show you the available listings within or near to the search area. To refine your criteria further, click Add to Criteria instead. Appraisers have all kinds of special reports they have to complete in their line of work, including the 1004MC required by Freddie Mac. Paragon has a great Market Conditions Report for appraisers that gives you the data you need. Make sure your email address is up-to-date with us so you don't miss out! WVMLS is non-profit and owned by all the real estate offices that use our services. This means local control and responsiveness to local needs with a focus on keeping costs low for our members (Toll-free numbers, free software upgrades, at-cost supplies, even dues holidays when possible!) WVMLS s Photo Captioning Photo Showcase Photographs Picture Re-sizer Polygon Search Professional Standards Administration Public Search Website We all know a picture's worth a thousand words, but sometimes a few extra words can be helpful. Add captions to your photos like "Vaulted Ceilings" or "View from Master" to highlight specific features of your property. Just let us know which listing, which picture, and what you want it to say and we'll make it happen! Paragon offers a photo showcase on listings of 21 photos - and all 21 photos are included when agents send listings to their clients, plus they're sent out to hundreds of websites every day. Make sure you take advantage of this treasure - buyers love visuals! We'll take a free photo of every listing in our regular service area and post it to Paragon. We'll even send you the JPG file by email to use in your marketing pieces. Upload up to 20 additional photos of your choice, free of charge. We offer a few free tools for this - so your digital pictures are easier and quicker to upload. Visit http://www.wvmls.com/links.asp to download them. The Polygon search allows you to manually draw any shape (up to FOUR shapes) on the map to find listings. To draw an object, after selecting the polygon shape, click and release on the map to start a point. Each subsequent click on the map will connect the points together. There are a maximum of 20 points to use on a map to create the Polygon (note: if you intersect a line at any point while drawing the Polygon your shape will automatically be closed). The "Instant Search" button will show you the available listings within or near to the search area. This software makes it easy and inexpensive to publish your own flyers, brochures, postcards, envelopes, business cards, newsletters, fax forms and more. Available at the extremely low cost of just $20...it also comes with free training from WVMLS! All your listings are automatically advertised on the World Wide Web at Realtor.com, the best known and most widely-used public listing search website. Refer to "Syndication" for info on all the other sites. RETS stands for Real Estate Transaction Standard and is one of two ways our members can receive data through IDX. (Internet Data Exchange-IDX-allows each Broker Member in Willamette Valley MLS to display all approved WVMLS active listings on their Broker Owned Website. See also: IDX Reverse Prospecting is a way to search Paragon to see how many Paragon users have clients whose saved search criteria in contact manager. You can use it to look up any active listing to get an idea of how many Paragon users have clients who are looking for that kind of property. Great for statistical studies, listing presentations and general knowledge. Click Contacts > Reverse Prospecting to display the reverse prospecting screen. Enter the MLS # in the MLS # field, and press Search. WVMLS provides numerous ways to get information on your fellow Members as well as for the public to find an agent or office. WVMLS s Savings Statistics Statistics for Designated Members Supra Syndication Tax Records Technical Support WVMLS has worked for over 60 years to grow a small, local MLS into a sound, solid regional company, keeping WVMLS financially secure and debt free and protecting our Members investment. Firm inventory reports are available on-line anytime. Inside Paragon, there is a cornucopia of statistical information available to Designated WVMLS Members. Simply click "Resources" in the Paragon menu, and visit Statistical Reporting to get Agent and Company Rankings, run Market Reports and much, much more! See Lockbox/Key Hundreds of websites are fed up-to-date, accurate data via WVMLS's listing syndication strategies all completely free to our members! We feed several sites directly, including Realtor.com and all our members IDX websites, but the real powerhouse of listing syndication is in our partnership with ListHub. Get up close and personal with newly listed property before you show your clients. Search Paragon to set up your own tours, or join in on one of the local pre-arranged tours. Hands-on lab classes are offered covering divers topics. (Credit hours are often available) Weekly newsletters and training tips are also provided by email, blog, and Paragon's homepage. Online webinars are also offered through WVMLS and our vendors from time to time, watch the calendar for these. From time-to-time, WVMLS purchases used lockboxes from other MLS's and sells them at a considerable savings to Members.
