Apart from this, the portal provides managing multiple product categories, multiple product types, complete order management, multi-currency etc. The systems were built using Magento as a platform for the ecommerce modules.
2. Key Traits of the Ecommerce Platform using Magento Setting up Multiple Stores Admin can setup multiple stores which can be published on the same website. Setting up the Product Categories Admin can setup separate product categories for the stores. N levels of categories and sub-categories can be managed. These would be published as separate category website pages in a store and allow the admin to setup the meta-tags for SEO optimization.
Setting up the Product Types Admin can manage the various product types like grouped products, bundled products, downloadable products and the virtual products.
