Math 1050 Khan Academy Extra Credit Algebra Assignment KhanAcademy.org offers over 2,700 instructional videos, including hundreds of videos teaching algebra concepts, and corresponding problem sets. In order for me to verify your progress, you must add me as your coach. Hopefully you did this when completing the Pre-Algebra Assignment, but if not, Here s how: 1. Go to khanacademy.org 2. Sign in using your Google or Facebook account 3. Click on your name in the top right to get to the main menu 4. Click on the Coaches button at the bottom of the left menu 5. Add me as your coach using the Coach ID: riversonya@gmail.com 6. Send me an email including your name and Khan Academy ID (unless it s obvious from your Khan ID what your name is). Once you have registered me as your coach, you are ready to start practicing. 1. Click on Learn at the top left corner of the page. 2. Here you get to work on exercises. The exercise sections are marked by stars, which will help you to find them between all the videos. Feel free to watch the videos to help you with the material! They re really good, and they ll count toward your participation extra credit. 3. You do not need to do these in order. I would suggest working on the ones that help you with the material we are covering in class or help you review. 4. For every ten sections you complete, you get one percent extra credit, up to five percent. 5. Keep in mind some of the same exercises appear in multiple sections. Obviously, they only count once. 6. Here are the exercises for the extra credit assignment:
