Genesove provided update, items included: o Held annual Safe at Work Ontario process to develop sector plans which are published on the MoL website in July to outline enforcement and compliance initiatives Consultation process began in January Open public consultations held in Toronto and other locations, sector based Safe Work Ontario Consultations, Healthcare Sessions, Small Business, Vulnerable workers Healthcare inspectors will look at IRS, and five most serious occupational hazards Workplace Violence 2nd year initiative starting in July Visiting all the hospitals within next 3 years Comments to Safe Work Ontario will be received until March o Initiatives Ebola virus prevention Revised directive for Acute Care facilities was released 3 P a g e

Copes o Lots of work with Ebola o New President, Dr. Peter Donnelly, would like to persuade him to adapt work on Gang Violence towards Workplace violence R. o Working with Public Health Ontario on Ebola Checklist are live and will be sent out by Gloria Training for tier 1 hospitals to be provided by the emergency management branch o Board E-Learning Program To assist board members understand their accountability and liability from a health and safety perspective Action Item: Westpark may be interested to trial Board E-Learning Program when it is ready, H.
