SECURITY & POLICING LIVE! Live demonstration arena for exhibitors to showcase products For 2016, there will be a new purpose built arena in a key location, providing exhibitors with a stage to demonstrate products in a live environment. This year, supported by UK Border Force, the live demonstration area, sponsored by Crisis Cast, will feature an exciting and diverse range of cutting edge technologies and equipment from a host of exhibitors, addressing the growing need for border security solutions. Visitors will be able to hear about the very latest search techniques used, the equipment used to tackle border crime and watch a full programme of carefully arranged activities. New Immersive Experience (Mock Embassy) An exciting new addition to the event in 2016 will be a mock-up of a fictional embassy. Working closely with the Security Liaison Unit from the Metropolitan Police, Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection, which is responsible for advising on protection of embassies and other diplomatic missions, we can guarantee that the very best of British standards will be displayed and promoted in this new feature. Visitors and delegations will be able to see for themselves the many different elements of security afforded to protecting embassies. Throughout the day a live scenario/role play situation will take place to help visitors visualise such circumstances as a full security lock down and see how the UK Security Industry can contribute to its effectiveness. Live demonstration by the Home Office Security Innovation and Demonstration Centre (SIDC) Proving to be a popular addition to Security & Policing 2015, a specially created live demonstration will take place throughout the duration of the 2016 event. Created by the Home Office Security Innovation and Demonstration Centre (SIDC) The 2016 live demonstration will be designed to illustrate how current and future online and digital capabilities can be utilised and integrated to create a mobile investigative capability for law enforcement agencies.
