Qtel Mobile Email Corporate Edition is a server-based software that is installed inside the corporate firewall and integrates with either Microsoft Exchange or IBM Lotus Domino to provide mobile workers with instant and secure access to corporate data - from their mobile phone. With Qtel Mobile Email, your employees will be enjoying mobile email and will be able to: Access one corporate (Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Domino) and up to four Internet (Qatar.Net, Gmail, Premium Yahoo!, Premium Hotmail, etc.) email accounts on one phone. Take advantage of messaging, calendar, contacts, and tasks applications that utilize the phone s native format - no need to learn new software. Download, upload, edit, and forward attachments from the phone. Use the Connection Schedule feature to set the days and hours when email gets delivered to the phone. Respond to meeting requests in your Inbox and have them appear as calendar entries complete with location and alarm reminder information. Search the corporate directory on the phone and then add the person to the contacts list or create a new email message. Thank you for your interest in Qtel Mobile Email Corporate Edition. How to get the service? First of all ask your IT manager to provide you Qtel Mobile Email. He will then add your corporate mail to the service. Second: from your PC: 1. You will receive a welcome email with an activation URL. 2. To activate your account, click on the URL you received in the welcome email to launch the Web browser on your PC. 3. Enter your mobile number and click Continue. Page 5

4. Enter your Corporate Email Address and the password you received in the welcome email. 5. Create a new password and click Continue. (please don t loose this password as you will be using it in the following steps). Page 6

6. Accept the terms and conditions. 7. Click on Next (keep the default timezone setting) and assure that you have the same time settings on your Mobile device. 8. Click on your Mobile device among the supported devices list to get the download instructions for your device. Page 7

9. If you are synchronizing your calendar and contacts data on your device and to avoid loosing your contacts and calendar information or to avoid getting duplicates; make sure you make a final synchronization before downloading the mobile email software on your device. You don t have to do this if you are not currently synchronizing your calendar and contacts on your device. Page 8

10. After the synchronization is done, make sure to deactivate the synchronizing feature between your device and your PC. 11. Scroll down and click finish. 12. Follow the instructions on your Mobile Device as below. Then from your Mobile Device: 1. Assure you have the correct timezone settings on your phone (GMT+3 no daylight savings). 2. Launch the mobile browser on your device. 3. Navigate to the following web address: https://mobileemail.qtel.com.qa 4. Enter your mobile number and click Next. 5. Agree on the terms and conditions. 6. Enter your corporate email address and the new password you created previously in step 6 in the From your PC section, and click Next. Please note that this is not the corporate email password 7. Click on Get Software. Page 10

8. Click on Download Software. 9. Click Ok Page 11

10. Allow some time for the download and then click Yes to Install the Mobile Email. 11. Click continue. Page 12

12. Click Ok to accept the End User License Agreement. 13. Enter your mobile number for identification and click Next. Page 13

14. Enter your new password you created previously in step 6 in the From your PC section, for authentication and click Next. Please note that this is not the corporate email password 15. Allow some time for the application to activate. 16. You will be prompted to back up your contacts and calendar. If you have then click yes. Otherwise click no. Page 14

17. If you clicked no, you will be prompted to replace the existing data on your devices with your corporate data. Click yes if you want to do this, otherwise click no. 18. You will then have the choice to either: a. Choose backup to back up your data and then activate the software which will avoid having duplicates or loosing any important data. Or b. Choose combine which will combine your device and corporate data. (Note: duplicates may occur). Page 15

You can access the full corporate directory by going to the mobile email software on your device and choosing the lookup feature! You can upgrade the software by choosing options and then upgrade on your mobile email software on your mobile device! Problem Account Service Activation How can I check that my mobile email account is active? Solutions In order to check that your account has been properly activated please log in to the Qtel Mobile Email web page from your PC using your Mobile number as login and the password that you received in the welcome email. If you cannot log into the site then re-type your login / password. If it fails again please contact customer services. If you can access the site then click on the E- Mail link on the left menu. If you can access to your corporate email the service is properly activated. Your receive an error message while activating your email client on your mobile If not please contact your IT manager, otherwise contact corporate customer service. Check if the time zone is properly set on your mobile phone (GTM+3 no daylight savings) Page 16
