Controls Laundry Operations Comprehensive & Easy to Use Saves Time & Money 16530 Ventura Blvd., Suite 603 Encino, CA 91436 (800) 820-2111 sales@invotech.com www.invotech.com

InvoTech s Garment Inventory Management System InvoTech s GIMS Laundry System is specifically designed to automate laundry operations serving hotels, casinos and resorts that utilize GIMS Uniform System or GIMS Linen System to manage their uniforms and linens. For over 15 years, InvoTech has been the world leader in inventory tracking within the hospitality industry. GIMS is used by more than 400 high-profile properties around the world. GIMS Laundry System applies the power of GIMS to laundry management operations GIMS Laundry System utilizes the specialized barcodes or RFID tags already attached to uniforms and linens by GIMS clients to accurately and quickly identify each item. The RFID chips utilize 13.56 MHz frequency and allow for the simultaneous processing of multiple items. This capability greatly reduces labor for many daily tasks while dramatically increasing the accuracy of the information. With a direct interface to laundry clients, GIMS Laundry System maintains each client s inventory on an on-going basis: As inventory is added, edited, or deleted by the laundry s clients, GIMS Laundry System is automatically updated to assure that GIMS Laundry System will recognize the item when it is scanned at the laundry. GIMS Laundry System can also be used for non-gims clients of the laundry and can even process items without barcodes or RFID tags.

Whether for employee uniforms, room linens or table linens, GIMS Laundry System takes all the guesswork out of laundry management. Track individual items coming in from clients Track items throughout the plant and monitor employee productivity versus labor standards Quickly sort items by client, by man-number, or by type, style and size Monitor laundry activity by client and by cleaning process Assure all items are returned to the proper clients Automatically charge appropriate clients for cleaning Key Benefits The improved information and efficient processes derived from GIMS Laundry System generates substantial reductions labor costs. Aside from greatly improved labor productivity, GIMS Laundry System provides several important other benefits: Improved finished sort capability Better information on labor productivity Quicker turnaround time Elimination of disputes with clients Improved shipping and billing accuracy Greater value-added service to clients. Improved client relations and greater client retention

GIMS Laundry System Features The easy-to-use design of GIMS Laundry System facilitates daily operations. A simple click moves you to any function: Individual users can be restricted to specific functions allowing for greater operational control. Inventory to lookup information on any item or to add new items for non-gims clients Check-In for determining what soiled items have been received at the laundry Stations track production throughout the plant and monitor labor productivity Sort to determine the client, man-number and type of item for proper sorting prior to shipping and billing Ship for sending items back to clients Reports contain a variety of vital management information grouped by type for easy access Inventory The Inventory screen provides total control and accountability for each item. You will always know where everything is located and who is responsible. The most recent history of items is shown by GIMS Laundry System. The current location, last check-in date, finish date, sort date and ship date for every item is maintained in real-time by GIMS Laundry System. Inventory can be searched for by ID number, type/style, location or property.

Check-In The Check-in function of GIMS Laundry System provides total accountability and lets you know exactly what was received at the laundry. GIMS Laundry System allows users to quickly sort the items by cleaning method. Optionally this information can be passed directly to automated sort systems. Checking items into the laundry automatically reveals any discrepancies of what was received versus what laundry clients say they shipped. The Check-In Discrepancy Report quickly resolves any arguments with clients regarding missing items. GIMS Laundry System item counters assure accurate counts. Stations The Stations function of GIMS Laundry System allows users to customize the monitoring of production throughout the plant. Create as many stations as needed, and specify what function each station performs. GIMS Laundry System monitors the level of production of each operator at each station. As items are read, GIMS Laundry System updates the items locations accordingly. You will always know where each item is and can quickly respond to customers questions as they arise. With RFID tags, the special RFID interface built-in to GIMS Laundry System eliminates the need to have computer workstations at the various production stations.

Sort Sorting items in GIMS Laundry System provides the basis to automatically charge each client the proper amount for cleaning. The sort screen tells operators the needed information to quickly sort items manually. Optionally this information can be passed directly to automated sort systems. GIMS Laundry System tracks production levels by client, by cleaning method and even by operator. Managers know exactly what being done, instantly and accurately. Pictures of items improve sort accuracy. Ship Shipping cleaned items to clients can be done individually or for all clients at once. The items locations are updated and clients are transferred the ship information so that their data is updated automatically without the need to scan individual items at their sites. Should clients scan their cleaned items using GIMS Uniform System or GIMS Linen System, they automatically can determine if any discrepancies exist between what they received and what was shipped by GIMS Laundry System. The ability to quickly determine and verify counts between the laundry and clients, saves time and greatly improves client relations and goodwill.

Reports The power of GIMS Laundry System is located in the Reports section with more than 20 different reports detailing all aspects of the operations. Reports are grouped for easy access to information needed. Most reports have several filters that allow users to obtain just the information that is needed. All transactions within GIMS Laundry System are date stamped. Users, therefore, can generate reports over any date range, and all reports can be saved to a file and emailed. Some of the more widely used reports include: Delinquent Items by Client Cleaning Activity by Cleaning Method Production by Operator Billing Report by Property Cleaning Activity by Property Work smarter, save time, improve decisions That s what GIMS Laundry System Reports are all about.
