D-1188-2009 Move life-critical patient data on your existing network INFINITY ONENET

One Network rather than two MT-1351-2007 Patient monitoring data is life-critical. That s why hospitals have traditionally built a second network just to carry that information. Infinity OneNet a breakthrough network design from Dräger offers a smart alternative. As more medical devices such as patient monitors require network connectivity, it makes sense strategically and financially to support them on your existing infrastructure. With Infinity OneNet, you only need one network for patient monitoring and hospital applications: yours. Infinity OneNet is part of the Infinity Network, which links together data from Dräger point-of-care devices. OneNet is a network design that supports both wired and wireless real-time patient monitoring on your existing network. Why support two networks, when all you really need is one? OneNet.

Infinity OneNet Architecture Example What is OneNet? Infinity OneNet is a network design that lets you move lifecritical patient data on your existing hospital network safely and securely. As a result, you save the expense of building and maintaining a separate patient monitoring network. Enables one shared network Supports seamless wired and wireless monitoring Optimizes Quality of Service Leverages your network investment Embraces industry standards Wireless Laptop 802.11b/g/a Wi-Fi Access Point Patient Monitor Patient-worn Monitor Standard Hospital Network / Infinity Network Wireless Switch / Router Mobile Phone PDA Patient Monitor Wireless Tablet Life Critical Information Hospital Information 802.11b/g/a Wi-Fi Access Point Switch / Router Wired Switch / Router Computer Infinity Omega solution Patient Monitor Infinity Central Station Printer Patient Monitor Computer Printer D-1189-2009

To deliver Infinity OneNet, Dräger has trained and certified industry-leading networking companies to provide network reliability and optimize Quality of Service in your wired/wireless network. OneNet uses industry standards such as IEEE 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, IEEE 802.3 Ethernet (TCP/IP and UDP), IEEE 802.1p/Q (VLAN and QoS) and IEEE 802.11e. Infinity OneNet is compatible with components from many of the major network equipment providers that meet industry standards and Dräger s networking requirements. Network innovation in action: D-1190-2009 Infinity Gateway / Infinity Symphony Solutions that open the flow of patient information throughout the hospital and beyond, presenting the patient s entire episode of care. Dräger allows you to use 802.11 b/g access points and take advantage of open industry standards. That means you can use your existing Dräger validated access points and share them between life-critical patient monitoring and other hospital applications. D-1191-2009 Infinity M300 Based on industry-standard Wi-Fi WLAN, the Infinity M300 patient-worn monitor has reliable two-way communication with the Infinity CentralStation. At Dräger, our expertise is in medical devices and systems. That s why we ve joined forces with global companies whose expertise is networking. Together, we can create a solution that works for you. D-1192-2009 Infinity Omega Infinity Omega solutions bring networked information such as vital signs, DICOM images, lab data, ECGs and clinical applications to the point of care. D-1193-2009 Pick and Go Dräger offers bedside patient monitors that double as transport monitors, providing continuous monitoring both locally and centrally as they move seamlessly from wired to wireless

MT-1177-2007 MT-4488-2006 LEVERAGE YOUR EXISTING NETWORK INVESTMENT Infinity OneNet is designed to provide the Quality of Service (QoS) you need for transmitting lifecritical patient data both wired and wirelessly. And because Infinity OneNet shares the hospital s existing network, it lets you leverage your preferred solutions for security, high availability and reliability. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES To make sure that our Infinity OneNet solution meets your requirements, Dräger has teamed up with leading network service providers worldwide. Together, we offer a wide portfolio of Professional Services to help you with network design, upgrade planning, Quality of Service management, security strategies, and enterprise wireless planning. Dräger: a track record of networking innovation 1995: Introduced Infinity Network capable of using industry standards and protocols 2002: Supported the common IEEE 802.11b standard (Wi-Fi) 2004: Offered a shared infrastructure capability on wireless networks 2007: Launched Infinity M300, a patient-worn telemetry monitor based on Wi-Fi 2007: Started its active participation in the drafting of the IEC 80001 standard (planned completion 2010) 2008: Released new external Wi-Fi adapter card with enhanced WPA2 encryption for bedside 2008: Became a member of the global Wi-Fi Alliance
