A LETTER FROM THE CEO Kushner Companies is a diversified real estate organization headquartered in New York City. Our Company is responsible for the ownership, management, development and redevelopment of numerous properties. Our national reach consists of more than 20,000 multi-family apartments, as well as 12 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and Illinois. 2014 was another busy year. We completed more than $2 billion of transactions, including an ownership interest in 80-90 Maiden Lane in Downtown Manhattan, as well as 2,000 multi-family apartments in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, New Jersey and Maryland. In conjunction with our partner Extell, we also sold 80 West End Avenue for $195 million, which was purchased less than a year earlier for $83 million prior to repositioning the building. We are pleased with our strategic and measured growth and plan to continue to make acquisitions as the market presents opportunities. ACQUISITIONS Kushner Companies has completed more than $13 billion of transactions since 2007. In 2014, Kushner Companies acquired 1 million square feet of commercial properties and over 2,000 multi-family apartments in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, New Jersey and Maryland. Most notable is the acquisition of an ownership interest in 560,000 square feet at 80-90 Maiden Lane in Downtown Manhattan that was purchased in partnership with Normandy Real Estate. Kushner Companies also acquired a full block in Gowanus, Brooklyn, in partnership with LIVWRK and SL Green, for a mixed-use development directly across the street from the new Whole Foods. COMMERCIAL Kushner Companies is strategically focused on developing creative office space for technology and media tenants in historic buildings in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The Puck Building in Soho was successfully transformed into creative office space as was 200 Lafayette and 80 West End, which have both been sold. Current projects include the full-scale redevelopment of Dumbo Heights and the repositioning of 2 Rector Street and 80-90 Maiden Lane in Downtown Manhattan.
