They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information form a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. Where a group or organisation wishes to book the program they may select their own units or import from other packages according to the packaging rules. Cost: Available on request. The course includes all workbooks and all administration costs. A deposit of $1000 must be paid in advance of commencement of the program to secure a place on the program. BSB40507 Cert IV in Business Administraion Qualification Overview v1 Page 5 Program Delivery and Schedule The program is delivered over 12 months and is available as a traineeship for the same period of time. It may be delivered flexibly over a period of time to suit the client. Workshops are delivered at Nara training facilities in Bunbury in one of our three fully equipped training rooms. Assessment feedback is provided at each workshop and your trainer and assessor will be available between workshops to discuss your progress as required. The facilitator, Deanna Ward, is a qualified trainer and assessor, life coach and personality profiler with a strong background and education in business and management and Masters in Professional Communications. She is able to offer coaching and mentoring between sessions and assistance with specific issues for each candidate as well as training and assessing. All assessments must be completed and submitted at least one month prior to completion date to allow for assessment and certification.

BSBITU402A Develop and use complex spread sheets This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to use spread sheet software to complete business tasks and to produce complex documents. BSBWOR404B Develop work priorities This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to plan work schedules, to monitor and to obtain feedback on work performance and development. It also addresses the requirement to take responsibility for your own career planning and professional development. This unit applies to individuals who are required to design their own work schedules and work plans, and to establish priorities for their work. They will typically hold some responsibilities for the work of others and have some autonomy in relation to their own role. BSBADM405B Organise work meetings This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to organise meetings including making arrangements, liaising with participants, and developing and distributing meeting related documentation. BSBADM406B Organise business travel This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to organise domestic and overseas business travel, including developing associated itineraries, booking travel and accommodation, preparing travel related documentation and making travel arrangements.

It involves the identification, acquisition, initial analysis and use of appropriate information, which plays a significant part in the organisation's effectiveness BSBCUS402B Address customer needs This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage the ongoing relationship with a customer, which includes assisting the customer to articulate their needs, meeting customer needs and managing networks to ensure customer needs are addressed. The customer relationship would typically involve direct interaction a number of times over an extended period. This unit is appropriate to workers who are expected to have detailed product knowledge in order to recommend customised solutions. They would be expected to apply organisational procedures and be aware of, and apply as appropriate, broader factors involving ethics, industry practice and relevant government policies and regulations. BSBCUS401B Coordinate implementation of customer service strategies This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to advise on, carry out and evaluate customer service strategies, including the design of improvement strategies based on feedback. Operators may have responsibility to provide guidance or to delegate aspects of these tasks to others. BSBMKG414B Undertake marketing activities This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to plan, implement and manage basic marketing and promotional activities. It is a foundation unit that covers general and basic marketing and promotional activities that do not require detailed or complex planning or implementation.bsbcus402b Address customer needs This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge

BSB40507 Cert IV in Business Administraion Qualification Overview v1 Page 8 BSBSLS408A Present, secure and support sales solutions This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to present sales solutions that respond to the specific buying needs of a client, and to use sales processes associated with securing prospect commitment to proceed with a sale. The unit also includes attending to post-sales activities that build and strengthen the partnership between a salesperson and the client, and enhance the prospect of future sales. Customised Program Nara Training & Assessing offers customised programs to suit specific organisational needs. This could be a Certificate IV in Business Administration with electives that best suit your needs or some of these units may be used in conjunction with other packages on our scope to create a unique training solution. Workshops may be delivered at Nara Training & Assessing training facilities or may be delivered on site where suitable training facilities exist (any cost for travel, subsistence and accommodation will be additional cost to the client to be agreed before commencement of program). Assessment and feedback is provided between each workshop as agreed. Workplace assessment is also available within the Bunbury region. Where travel is involved this may incur extra costs depending upon distance travelled and frequency of visits. This will be agreed prior to commencement of the program. Where additional areas are required such as personality profiling, emotional intelligence for example, these will be negotiated with the client to tailor-make a program to suit.

BSB40507 Cert IV in Business Administraion Qualification Overview v1 Page 9 Recognition of Prior Learning Nara offers recognition of prior learning through evidencing of current competency levels from previous experience or through credit transfer, when upgrading from a previous package. BSB40507 is composed of 10 elective units in total of which some units may be covered by credit transfer from an existing qualification where evidence of currency in these units may be demonstrated. Candidates must be able to demonstrate current vocational competence. This means that, unless the candidate has recent management experience, they might need to undergo further training or experience to gain currency. When applying for the assessment only pathway (RPL) the onus is on the candidate to provide sufficient and current evidence within the 3 month period for RPL assessment. Assessment Only Completion The RPL process is a 12 month program. Please allow at least 2 weeks for the assessment of your evidence. This means that the evidence must be provided in an easy to read format 2 weeks prior to completion to allow for assessment and certification.
