Answer Sheet Display The Vowel LMS provides you with an option of displaying the answer sheet to users after they complete the quiz. 04 Optional Resume Support 05 This feature allows users to complete a quiz if they have left it incomplete. SCORING AND ORGANIZATION CERTIFICATION AND SEARCH Multiple Scoring Methods You can choose between the best score, the average score, or the latest attempt score for lessons and quizzes across multiple attempts. Certification Criteria You can set criteria for the successful completion of a course. Learners will be eligible for certification only when the set criteria are met. Certificate Generation This feature provides you with a certificate template, but if you so choose, you can design your own certificate using the template editor.
REPORTING Course Report The Course Report displays information like Access Control Levels, Likes and Dislikes, Comments, Recommendations, etc. about all the courses that you have created. Student Course Report The Student Course Report allows you to view individual progress based on the courses assigned to each student. Activity Report The Activity Report displays all LMS-related activities performed by the learners and the administrator. The learner, however, will be able to view only the activity that they have performed. User Report The User Report details the activities like Enrolled Courses, Completed Courses, Incomplete Courses of each registered user in the LMS. Attempt Report The Attempt Report lists information about courses, lessons, and quizzes. It shows the attempts by users along with the time spent for each attempt. CLOUD HOSTING Cloud hosting enables you to have secure, scalable storage for your content without having to have your own infrastructure. FACE TO FACE TRAINING ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT AND SEARCH Training Categories and Training Batches The administrator can create training categories and batches. The administrator can set starting date for these batches. The Vowel LMS allows you to mass-import user data using a CSV import tool. Training Display Training modules can be browsed by the user using the category structure and filters. The modules will only be visible to users as per their set access level. A calendar-based view is also available to display the offline training schedules. User Enrollment The administrator can enroll users for courses and edit user enrollment. Self-Enrollment For courses where this feature is enabled, users can self-enroll themselves. Nomination for Trainings The administrator can nominate learners for face-to-face training. Accordingly, they can select a specific batch for the nominee to attend.
FACE TO FACE TRAINING ORGANIZATION MODULE AND SEARCH Notifications and Reminders When a user is enrolled or nominated for a course, he or she will receive a series of notifications as reminders. For instance, The first notification email will be sent to notify the user about the enrollment details. The first reminder email will be sent 21 days before the course starts along with the essential course details. The second reminder email will be sent nine days before course starts. The training administrator can email attendees of the course about any other incidental changes or other details of the course. The training administrator can send reminders through SMS too. Marking Attendance The administrator can mark attendance for trainings. If the administrator sets a training owner while creating the training, this person will have the authority to mark attendance for the training using the web interface. Using either an Android or an ios app, the training owner can mark attendance. The app allows the same administrator account to be configured on multiple devices in case you have multiple people managing the training on the ground.
LEARNING TOOLS AND THE LEARNING TOOLBAR Learning Dashboard Every student has a personalized learning dashboard that gives a quick view of their learning activities, recommendations, and activity charts. The Learning Toolbar The learning toolbar provides easy, intuitive access to various learning tools like associated files, notes, and comments and is available when you open a lesson in a module. Notes This feature on the learning toolbar is a facility for the users to take notes while they are viewing a lesson. These personalized notes are saved so that the learners can refer to them later. USER INTERFACE ORGANIZATION AND SEARCH Multiple Course Layouts The learners can choose how the courses should be displayed on their course dashboard. They can choose to create menu layouts common for all categories or have a category-specific menu. Course Page The course page displays details about a particular course. A table of contents, lesson attempts, your progress, overall course progress and social information like group discussions and other members enrolled in the course are shown on a nice, intuitive interface.

A lot of this learning happens through online and offline socialization and interactions. Our social learning features aid learning through sharing of content, having interactions around the content, and delivering it in innovative ways. Native Sharing on External Social Networks This feature allows you to easily integrate share buttons like Facebook, Google+, and Twitter on your course pages. The Learning Activity Stream The LMS comes inbuilt with simple activity stream that records and shows all the users learning activities. This can be displayed organization-wide to let people see what their peers have achieved so as to motivate them to do better.

TinCan/Experience API/xAPI The TinCan API (also known as the Experience API or xapi) is an emerging learning standard that enhances the functionality of SCORM. Currently, we have enabled the API to integrate with SCORM cloud. Soon, we shall be integrating it with other learning record stores as well. This feature will help you to analyze and track bite-sized learning modules too. Recommend a Course Users will be able to recommend courses to their friends. Recommend a Course is an effective way to drive social learning.
UPCOMING FEATURES ios and Android app for LMS The app will allow you to take courses offline, and it will record your data and store it offline. Once the user comes online, the data will be synchronized with the online record. This will allow learning to take place on a phone or tablet without an Internet connection. Course Member Chat Every course will have a dedicated course member chat which will let users, who have signed up for the course, interact with each other and help solve each other s queries. Assigning a Course and Learning Assignment Administrators will be able to assign users to one or more courses using this feature. It will be mandatory for the user to take this course. Furthermore, the LMS will allow users to upload subjective assignments given to them by their instructors/facilitators through the system. Request a Course This feature will allow the user to browse through all the catalog courses that you are offering and request to be enrolled to a particular course. Dashboard Calendar A calendar will display all the events that a user is enrolled for, in a calendar format on the dashboard. Course Access Based on Learner Profile You will be able to make content available for learners based on their learning pace and profiles.
