1. OVERVIEW Amada Modular Flexible Manufacturing Cell The proposal enclosed is for a fully Automated, flexible manufacturing cell incorporating sheet storage, loading, punch processing, stacking and storage of finished parts. The system is modular and can be expanded or reconfigured as required to increase capacity or connect to other manufacturing processes. Features of the system include: Maximum sheet size up to 2500 mm x 1250 mm and thickness up to 3.0 mm. A 10 location modular storage facility with a carrying capacity of 3000Kg/Shelf. Automatic loading of material to a Turret Punch Press. Stacking of finished parts in either Microjointed or Separated formats. A 5 location modular storage facility for processed sheets or parts. An automatic scrap shear to efficiently remove waste material from the cell. Offline scheduline and Process Control Software (P & M and Masterstore).
2. GENERAL SYSTEM LAYOUT SS12 ASPR250-UL VIPROS 358KING ASL250 3. GENERAL OPERATION DESCRIPTION The ASL250 is loaded with 3000Kg pallets of sheet material. The integral stacker crane transfer the sheets 1 by 1 to the designated storage shelf. This operation is necessary to ensure; Sheets are pre-separated to guarantee reliable loading during lights out operation. Accurate sheet count is completed Maximum storage (without timber pallets) is achieved. The integrated loader of the ASL250 Storage Unit is scheduled to feed the Vipros 358 King on demand. Priority during stocking of shelves is always given to loading of the Turret Punch Press. After punch processing, Picked parts or micro-jointed sheets are stacked on the ASPR250-UL Part Remover Stacking Tables. Sheet skeletons are cut into strips via an automatic shear (SS12) and removed from the system.
