E-Learning Uncovered: Articulate Studio 13 Articulate Engage 13 allows you to quickly and easily create click-to-reveal interactions that use a form-based template. This document outlines the 20 available interaction options and provides ideas for when to use each one. Accordion Accordion lets learners reveal items or steps in a process one at a time. This interaction is great for outlining a procedural process or comparing related information. Bulletin Board Bulletin Board lets learners explore content in a free-form way by clicking notes on a bulletin board. allowing learners to explore information in a casual manner. Additionally, this interaction can be used as part of a scenario or general information-gathering activity. Checklist Checklist lets learners view information in an interactive checklist format. outlining simple reminders related to a larger process or providing an alternative to bullet points on a slide.

Circle Diagram Circle Diagram lets learners examine information in a hierarchical, layered format. This interaction is great for presenting hierarchal information, such as organizational goals or philosophical concepts, with the center being most important. Conversation Conversation simulates a discussion or online chat. demonstrating a conversation, such as a customer service or supervisor/employee discussion. FAQ FAQ lets learners explore frequently asked questions in an interactive format. consolidating large amounts of information for easy review. This interaction also works well as a player tab for learners to reference anytime during the course. Folders Folders lets learners explore information by clicking on each tab of a folder to reveal additional information. presenting information, such as company policies or employee files. This interaction is ideal for scenarios or a general information-gathering activity.

Glossary Glossary lets learners obtain definitions of important words, terms, and phrases. consolidating information related to complex terms and phrases. This interaction is ideal as a player tab for learners to reference anytime during the course. Guided Image Guided Image lets learners explore important parts of an image or diagram with animated arrows to point out specific details. pointing out important details of a larger image, graphic, or diagram. This interaction has a static panel, which doesn t layer content on top of the main image. Image Zoom Labeled Graphic Image Zoom lets learners zoom in on the details of an image or diagram. Labeled Graphic lets learners explore highlighted areas of an image or diagram by clicking on multiple pulsing icons. pointing out specific areas of a highly detailed image, graphic, or document to provide additional information. This interaction has pop-up windows, layering the content on top of the main image. pointing out multiple areas of an image, graphic, or document at the same time. This interaction is ideal as a player tab for learners to reference information related to the course navigation controls. This interaction has pop-up windows, layering the content on top of the main image.

Labeled Panel Labeled Panel lets learners explore highlighted areas of an image or diagram by clicking on multiple pulsing icons. pointing out multiple areas of an image, graphic, or document at the same time. Media Panel Media Panel lets learners explore a series of related photos, videos, and other media side by side. providing an interactive tour of multiple photos, videos, and text content. Media Tour Media Tour lets learners explore a series of full-size photos, videos, and other media in a slide show format. showcasing media-rich content or to present a series of photos as a slide show. Process Process lets learners reveal items or steps in a process one at a time. outlining a procedural process or anything that requires sequential steps.

Pyramid Pyramid Diagram lets learners examine information in a hierarchical, layered format. This interaction is great for presenting related hierarchal information, such as organizational goals or company structure. Quick Choice Quick Choice lets learners explore information and test their knowledge in an ungraded manner. This interaction is a great alternative to the traditional question types. This interaction can act as an ungraded knowledge check question midway through a course. Tabbed Image Tabbed Image lets learners explore a series of items related to an image or diagram. This interaction is a great for presenting procedural steps or sequential information that is graphic-heavy. Tabs Tabs lets learners easily view related information or concepts in a tabbed format. presenting information in a generic and versatile format. With the ability to have three to six tabs, you can use this interaction to present information that doesn t have specific hierarchal or sequential requirements.

Timeline Timeline lets learners view chronological or sequential information in a visually-rich format. presenting chronological or sequential information, with multiple phases and steps. Use this interaction to present a series of events or company history.
