ABOUT YOUR RHINO TRACKS STS This user guide covers the installation and operation of your RHINO TRACKS STS. The latest version of this document is always available on the Rhino Tracks website. We suggest you visit the website and download the latest version, to ensure you have the most up to date and reliable information. The RHINO TRACKS STS is a vehicle tracking and car alarm system. It provides vehicle security and remote GPS tracking in one unit. You can monitor a vehicles location and control the car alarm remotely. In addition, the unit will can send event reports for a range of triggers and has 8 outputs and 5 inputs for performing alarm functions. The RHINO TRACKS STS comes pre configured with a SIM card installed. To get the tracking system up and running, you simply need to install the unit as per the included wiring diagram then browse to www.rhinotracks.com.au Your RHINO TRACKS STS will automatically report its position to the Rhino Tracks server every 15 seconds while the unit is powered on. POWER OPTIONS Most installations will use the car ignition wire for power, in effect ensuring that the vehicle is tracked when being driven. If you would like the unit to be tracked constantly, 24 hours a day, you should obtain a secondary battery for the device. Most car batteries are not designed to run devices constantly. You should contact your installer or an auto electrician for more information on a suitable power solution. TRACKER INSTALLATION For basic tracker functionality: 1. Connect GSM Antenna Cable 2. Connect GPS Antenna Cable 3. Connect the BLACK loom wire to 12v battery 4. Connect the RED loom wire to +12v battery with 5 Amp fuse in place
CREATING YOUR RHINO TRACKS ACCOUNT To log into your Rhino Tracks account: Browse to www.rhinotracks.com.au In the New User s form enter your: Email address Desired password Tracker IMEI Registration code If you do not have these details or the website reports them as invalid, please contact our technical support team. Click the Login button. LOGGING INTO YOUR RHINO TRACKS ACCOUNT To log into your Rhino Tracks account: Browse to www.rhinotracks.com.au In the Existing User form enter your email address and password. Click the Login button. LIVE VIEW FOR YOUR TRACKER To view the daily history for your tracker: Click the Show Menu button in the top left and click the Reports option. Select Live from the Type drop down list. Click the Go button. HISTORY VIEW FOR YOUR TRACKER To view the daily history for your tracker: Click the Show Menu button in the top left and click the Reports option. Select a tracker from the Device drop down list. Select History from the Type drop down list. Enter a date in the Date field by clicking the calendar icon. Click the Go button.
CHANGING THE TRACKER NAME To change the display name for your tracker: Click the Show Menu button in the top left and click the Account Settings option. Enter a new Device Name for the desired unit and click the Save Changes button. ADDING A NEW UNIT If you already have a Rhino Tracks account setup, and would like to add an additional tracking unit: Click the Show Menu button in the top left and click the Account Settings option. In the Register another Tracker box, enter the IMEI and Registration Code for your device and click the Add Tracker button. If you do not have these details or the website reports them as invalid, please contact our technical support team. Your new tracker unit will displayed in your list of units. CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD To change the password for your Rhino Tracks account: Click the Show Menu button in the top left and click the Tracker Settings option. In the fields displayed, enter your current password, new password and new password confirmation and click the Change Password button.
